The reason you respect red karma bars is because you have one.
The reason you have one is probably unrelated to The Coalition or any other group.
I've made lots of posts that criticise the Coalition, and I've insulted a few of their members, but none of them have ever given me red K. Some of the people that I get on well with have never given me green K, probably because they don't care about stuff like that (or maybe it's just that my posts are terrible;))
I actually started out with red k, but it was from some racist idiot with a lot of rep & posts. I questioned his post & out of no where he gave me red k twice I think.
So I can understand why some guys have it.
Yeah, there are a few on here like that.
There are 5-10 posters who have 20000 rep power, and everyone else has less than 50. Those 5-10 posters are responsible for who is green and who is red, the rest of us don't really have any influence.

The HBO crew seemed very surprised that one of the judges had Mayorga ahead going into the 12th.
I'm not sure how they had it though as my PC messed up:( I did sort it out in time to see the KO though :p
How do they have that much Karma & yet they are so stupid?
Edit: Hey Clegg is that you?
Yeah it's me. Got banned as part of the David Haye avatar war :D
I think the site used to allow people to pay points in order to get maximum karma, I'm not sure.
Robin Reid wasn't a bum.
He was an Olympic medalist who went to a foreign country and won the WBC belt. He then took Calzaghe to a close decision, and did enough to beat Sven Ottke for 2 of the belts in Germany, but was robbed by the officials.
Have you seen him fight?
It seems strange to criticise Shanus for saying that Miranda was weight drained, and then say that Robin Reid (who was better than Miranda IMO) was a bum.
I am not impressed by Johnson, so I guess I would say Barrett. Having said that, I haven't seen his defeat to Cliff Couser, so I'm not certain.
Either way, they aren't top 10, are they?
if 300mill American fans voted on every euro-american fight for the european fighter, you would still find a way to make it out that Americans are biased.
Where did I say that Americans are biased?
I pointed out the obvious flaw in your logic, and you can't answer that so you're responding with an accusation.
It says at the side 'Total votes: 345'.
I'm not sure that's a large enough sample to prove anything.
Even if the whole of America voted, one fight wouldn't be enough to prove much, would it? Unless it suited what you wanted to believe...
its only an obvious flaw to you.
You're saying that, apart from me, everyone else in the world would agree that you can judge an entire nation's level of bias on an entire sport simply by looking at the views of 345 people regarding one event?
Please, find me one respected researcher in any field who believes that such conclusions can be drawn from such a tiny sample.
of course I'm making an accusation cuz you are nit-picking.
That makes no sense. By your own admission, your accusation is not based upon fact. You accuse people of things because they don't agree with your severely-flawed methodology. Sad.
since yesterday, there have been 300 more votes and the poll is basically the same.
The sample size is still too small, especially in New York, where there were less than 40 votes when you made your over-generalisation.
Eubank was at the end of his rope hence the 2 losses after the fight with Joe then a quick retierment.
Eubank moved up 2 divisons and lost a debateable decision. Then in the rematch he lost on cuts. IIRC he was winning at the time.
if anyone knows anything about polling it doesn't matter how many ppl take it afer a certain #, its still accurate percentage and does not change too much when more ppl take it.
This is not really true in this instance
The sample size is too small, and the method is flawed. If you think that the views of 30 New York residents can be used to make a generalisation about the entire state, then you are wrong.
Before acting as if you know what you're talking about, go and research political opinion polls, and try and find one that uses a sample of only 30 people.
I assume that the writer knows that the KGB were murderous scum, and Vitali Klitschko and his team are, in contrast, respectable, law abiding people?
It would offensive to compare a German boxer to the Nazis, and I can understand why some may be critical of the article on that basis.
Ivan Drago is an anti-Russian stereotype from the Cold War era.
Also, wasn't Vitali a supporter of the Orange Revolution, which favoured stronger ties with the West rather than Russia and Putin?
It seems like a very stereotypical view of Russians and Ukrainians.
