nah, hes a bettet boxer never a better fighter. hes not a fighter he doesnt fight. I meant boxer, my mistake. That said, he does fight when he needs to, go watch his fights with both hernandez's, corrales, gatti, n'dou, corley, mitchell, bruseles. He'll fight. And when he does let his hands go, its a thing of beauty.

That fight was fun, last great heavyweight bout. Lewis looked so slow and rusty, very lucky to get the win, but he did tear Vitali a new eye socket. There have been great heavyweight fights since, but it was a great one.

Because regards of his acts or who he fights or what your perception of him is, he's still argueably the best boxer on the planet right now. He's went up 5 weight classes and has been fighting bigger guys his entire career and been beating them. On many occasions he's been outweighed by 10-15 pounds on fight night and still won. This was the case against corrales, baldy and oscar that I know of off the top of my head. Thats the true definition of p4p in my opinion, being able to beat fighters bigger than you, pound for pound. Floyd fights Ricky Hatton, but hatton weighs more on fight night and has faught at 140 his entire career. Most of floyds career took place at 130 and yes he's grown up, but he's still a small dude. With all that said, no matter your opinion of him, he's a great boxer, and p4p, only one man can arguably have his spot for the time being, and thats pacquiao.

His resume is almost on par with who is said to be one of if not the best super middle weights ever. I mean he has dominating wins over Miranda and Kessler. I hope this is sarcasm at its finest. He definitly has the ability to become an ATG though.

I have a little over 10,000 fights on dvd. Been collecting for around 10 years now and took over my dads collection when they needed transferred to dvd from vhs. I have a 1/4 updated list at freewebs.com/boxingdvds. It's almost impossible to keep it updated due to the excessive size of the collection. I have around 100 career sets that I've put together or got from various places. From about 2007 on, all my fights have been recorded from an HD dvr feed and put straight onto dvd so the quality is second to none. Holler at me if you ever need anything boxing related. I'm talking the 8oz gloves, smaller ring, 10million weight penalty, etc... he should of raised hell from the beginning. Honestly, I'd rather the crap be reversed. I would prefer they agreed to the blood test and disagreed on the in the ring concessions. At least in this case, we'd be arguing about the fight, and not Manny's got damn fear of needles. Had floyd not agreed to those things, we would all be singing a different tune. I think a ton of credit goes to floyd for agreeing on all the terms they threw at him. I still hope this fight gets made, if not, it'll eventually happen.

I had the first as a draw and the second by McCallum! I couldnt argue with those scores. They were both damn close in my opinion.

True. I found it hard to judge accurately as I'm a big fan of both too! I thought the second fight was clearer due to McCallum improving markedly from the first. Both excellent demonstrations of technical ability as well. Not to many fights are held at that level. Great boxing boxing purist to enjoy, for sure. Im a bigger toney fan so i may have been a little biased unintentionally.

I think floyd would be a lot more popular if he didn't act like a ghetto hustling gangster but he does so he is what he is. Mayweather became popular when he started trash talking....Your point doesnt hold much credit. I agree there are more pac fans, but thats becausse pac is more exciting. Floyds the better boxer, pac's the better fighter. It all depends on what people like watching. Die hard boxing fans appreciate them both.

Watch Toney vs Iran Barkley for the best demonstration of the shoulder roll. That said, Floyds mastered his craft and his record speaks for itself. I'd say floyd, but I'd also say floyds the better fighter overrall as well.

thats the thing that worries me whenever he fights... coz once he hurts those hands......welll you know how that goes thats for every fighter though..hurting your hands in a middle of a fight, must be tough.. and not everyone is gatti so yea Lucky for us, floyd will throw a broken hand if need be and knows how to perfectly utilize one good hand if need be. This man wants to win more than anyone in the sport of boxing, he's not going to let a hurt hand stop him. But yeah, it indeed does suck for anyone who has to go through it. However, I think the grant gloves tremendously help floyd along with the better wraps.

it's possible he just upped the xylocaine dosage or found some other type of stimulant. i'm not saying he's dirty but i'm just saying..... That very well could be true and rightfully so on floyds part if he needs it. Floyd isn't the only one in the sport who uses it. If its legal, its fair to use. Floyd fights his best moving forward, he has beautiful combo's when he lets his hands go, and he has some of the best feet in the business. This is what Nazim said bro about MONEY's flaws. If nazim plans to put a strategy together based on that, then I feel sorry for shane personally. 5. Low punch output = most accurate puncher in boxing These are flaws I've picked up after watching about 30 mosley fights straight this last week. I picked up alot of his flaws from the oscar/mosley 2 fight. I've seen every single floyd fight and this is basically what I see. Floyd has flaws, yes, but his athletic ability lets him get away with them. Mosleys flaws: 1. left hand low - make it easy for floyds straight right to land all day. 2. befuttled by a jab - Floyd showed us his great jab against Marquez 3. needs to be set to punch - will have a very hard time hitting floyd who wont stay in one place very long. 4. his offense is his defense because his hands rarely block shots - floyd is the most accurate puncher in boxing. 5. arguably past it and old - floyds still arguably in his mental prime and still has great physical attributes at 33. 6. relies on power, loads up, paws with jab - floyd sees just about everything coming. 7. overly aggressive at times - floyds great countering will come into play while mosley tires late. 8. fights best when in a brawl or toe to toe fight - this fight won't be... 9. gets emotional invested and mentally tired when frustrated - floyds in my opinion is the best at frustrated opponents. 10. May be looking past floyd to pac - floyds 100 percent focused on mosley 11. I can keep going, but this sums up most of it. This isn't to say shane doesnt have a chance, but I pick floyd by UD (116-112) in a competitive but once sided boxing exhibition. Mosleys early aggression will win him 4 to 5 rounds I believe, but not enough to win the fight down the stretch.

That said, mosley when about 4 yeras straight as being a one punch at a time fighter as well. another weakness is he has problems with an assertive jab. Fellas he just let the cat out of the bag and dont even know it! Believing this testing and not testing is all about one power to make demands and receive the upper hand some how. Floyd left the ball in Manny's court. If Floyd fights Manny with out making the demands he wanted..physiologically Manny will have the upper hand. In the mind of Floyd getting in that ring with someone who is, in his mind taking something will so much in fact get his mind off the game. Why wouldn't Team Pac make this happen? Both know the magnitude of this fight. Its started off a struggle of Power and now can very well be a mind game. Floyd and company should have not open these doors! If they do fight, floyd has already put some unwanted anger in pac, so come fight night, he'll be fighting on emotion most likely, and this plays into floyds court. Plus, if floyd somehow drops the demands, people will be more greatful to floyd because he would be the one showing that he really wanted to fight. We'll see come may 2nd, as of right now I just want them to fight. They are my favorite 2 guys in boxing right now bar roy jones jr, but he's done.

Fact: since Zab floyd hasn't fought anyone with countering speed. Zab exposed that. Before I say this, pac and floyd are equally my favorite fighters in the sport, but didn't floyd just fight JMM? and didn't JMM counter the hell out of pacquiao in 2 fights? Also, are you forgetting how fast oscar's hands are/were? You may want to recheck your definition of a fact.

as a floyd fan.. i know he's not perfect.. but who is? here are the flaws i see: - low punch out put.. at least at WW that is - he's more flat footed nowadays than he used to at his lower weights - his hands are brittle ....other than those... nothing comes to mind Floyd hasnt hurt his hand in his last 3 fights, marquez, hatton, oscar. He may have in judah, I can't remember. Once floyd stopped wrapping his own hands, his hand problems went away for the most part. He's still extra cautious though at times.

How the heck can some of you guys call yourselfs real boxing fans when about 30 percent of you dont even care he's leaving. Hell Im not afraid so say i'll be sad when hes gone, He gives me ( a true boxing fan ) something to look forward too. Im a bigger fan of floyd mayweather, but pacs probabley my second favorite fighter. I dont see how people could hate either guy when they are keeping the sport alive and you have 2 completely different styles that both have mastered and perfected to a tee. Yes, I'll be sad when pac leaves and/or floyd leaves because as of right now, theres no real superstar coming up to take their place anytime soon. Maybe in a few years when some of these prospects mature but not right now. Boxing is in a great spot right now.

Having a hard time understanding why people think floyd can't take a punch..... Have you guys not seen all 40 of his professional fights? I have... Including some of his ameteur wars. He's been hit plenty of times and when he does get hit, he smiles, and it lights a fire in him. Deep down the man loves to fight and brawl but chooses not to to add years to his life. This man has been in battles before. You guys really need to stop basing assessments on fighters that you only started watching 3 to 4 years ago. I know this was a dream tho and im not saying anything negative towards you as well. I have dreams like this all the time. I remember I dreamed of sakio bika knocking out jaidon codrington out in the 8th round, and was completely shocked when it actually happened. But I also dreamed of cotto knocking out pac in 3 rounds lol.

My opinion on this. Jones is one of the few fighters that never lost a fight in his physical and mental prime. As far as I'm concerned, when he beat antonio tarver to regain the lhw championship he was unoffically 50-0 breaking marciano's record. Officially he was 49-1, I believe due to the dq. Everyones beatable but I think theres an argument for 2 fighters in their prime that were unbeatable, and thats mike tyson and roy jones and it would have took a mike tyson to beat jones and a jones to beat tyson if the weights were relevant. Just by 2 cents. Jones was the most amazing athlete I have ever seen with possibly the most god given talent of any athlete of all time. He was simply amazing to watch in his prime. And yes, I'm biased, who isn't.... no, he was a sensational boxer but in my opinion a bit over hyped by the media due to him being american. Also for one reasons or another a lot of top boxing fights did not get made with him Reason being no one wanted to fight him. I rank James Toney over every fighter people claim he ducked, yet he dominated a 44-0 james toney. I thought he was phenomenal, and would have given most any MW fighter EVER, a tough time. I believe he defeats SRR at middleweight. He was faster, stronger, and had better foot movement. Plus back then, roy could take anyones best shot when he had too. Jones was an exceptional fighter that would of could of beaten almost anyone but i think if he had fought as many top fighters as some of the ATG's do/did on a more consistent basis that sooner or later someone would of caught up to him, Montell Griffin gave him enough problems in their fight, Del Valle had him over and we know what Tarver did, albeit he can be excused slightly for that due to age, so no i dont think he was unbeatable. Jones dominated DelValle every round. The kd was jones left foot slipping out from under him due to a wet canvas that both fighters battled all night, watch the fight. Tarver got beat by a drained jones, and that was about the last of jones physical prime. Griffin did give him problems but look what happened in the rematch. Jones only looked unbeatable based on the comp he faced. James Toney, 44-0, enough said. Roy did look good beating up bums didn't he.... Most of those "bum" went on to become world champion. Jones was never unbeatable, Montiel Griffin was giving him hell in the first fight and Griffin is hardly a fukkin elite level fighter. That debatable. Griffin has beat James Toney twice, and was undefeated until jones ruined him in their rematch. I'd say he was elite. You don't defeat a prime james toney unless your elite. A lot of Euro's at the time(Roy's prime) were well worthy of a fight with Roy. I could make a list as long as my arm. Yes you could, sadly they didn't want the fight. Many are on record saying they didn't want to fight jones. You're joking right? Maybe need to fresh up on your boxing history, its well known. Eubank sonned Malinga. Sd is sonning? This gave me chills. I like both fighters quite alot and both are atg's and hof's, but theres just this look in floyds eyes that tells me this is his time to shut up all the critics. I hope im right. Should be a great fight regardless.

In response to you hating how dirrel fights.... do you have something against fighters with excellent handspeed, beautiful combos, a complete arsenal of punches, great footwork and someone who schooled "the man people thought would win the tournament" for about 8 straight rounds. Not sure how any true boxing fan could dislike his style or his boxing ability. He stood right in front of abraham for 6 rounds and peppered him with a beautiful body attack. Pacquiao is my favorite fighter next to floyd, but dirrell broke AA's defense much better than pacquiao did clottey's. That is all....:usa:

No lounging around all week this week. I'm up in NSB and having good convo with Savor, Burner, and a couple other competent enemies this week. I have a few points. 1) I got Shane this weekend and I"m on the warpath with my Mosley brothers! Shane will outwork floyd, get a lead on the cards and switch it up and make FLoyd come to him. Floyd will be out of his comfort zone and get stunned in this fight. Shane comes on strong at the end of the fight to take the W. 2) Amir Khan is a total freakin clown, he needs to shut his face and fight a puncher. He probably doesn't even remember what happened the last time he fought one, so I don't see what his problem is. Who really thinks Maidana ducked you? 3) Floyd has absolutely 0 class. 4) Pwill is gonna get all up in Cintron's ass next week. 5) Pwill V Sergio is fight of the year so far and there MUST be a rematch this year! Pwill and Sergio faught in December of 2009...Its 2010
