Are you sad that you won't see Pac fight again? Are you disappointed or Angry that he didn't get to fight Floyd? Did you hate Pac all this time, only to realize now that you really love him? You know what they say "You don't know what you got until it's gone."
How the heck can some of you guys call yourselfs real boxing fans when about 30 percent of you dont even care he's leaving. Hell Im not afraid so say i'll be sad when hes gone, He gives me ( a true boxing fan ) something to look forward too. Im a bigger fan of floyd mayweather, but pacs probabley my second favorite fighter. I dont see how people could hate either guy when they are keeping the sport alive and you have 2 completely different styles that both have mastered and perfected to a tee. Yes, I'll be sad when pac leaves and/or floyd leaves because as of right now, theres no real superstar coming up to take their place anytime soon. Maybe in a few years when some of these prospects mature but not right now. Boxing is in a great spot right now.

that's because you're a biased tool who prefers not to regard his accomplishments.
I take Pacs accomplishments into consideration and respect it, but Im not blind, stupid or obsessed with my nation.
lol Okay thats fine but I've seen plenty of Wars in boxing guys trading punches back and forth and what pac does has not separated greatly from that. Fighters like Duran, Tyson, Hagler, mosley did what he did better in my opinion and virtuoso fighters like Roy Jones and Prince Nazim brought a flair that i think puts them above Pac in terms of entertainment value.
It's not Pac's fault that some of his recent opponents weren't willing to trade with him.
You don't think that if Pac fought the likes of Duran, Hagler, Mosley and the lot of fighters you mention that it wouldn't be an action packed and exciting fight?
Both JMM and Morales were willing to trade. Guess where those fights rank?
Hatton was willing but he went to bed early.
Lemme ask you this...
Has any of the most exciting fighters you mention ever given a standing ovation by the crowd in attendance at the end of a very dominating and otherwise very boring fight?
I don't feel anything because I don't believe it for one second.
Boxing fans are trained to never believe a "retirement" unless the guy is old and a sad shell of his former self. And even then, it's still a question mark.
He's not retiring, man. He won't win the election and he'll at least fight Mayweather or Mosley before he goes.
I guess I forgot to add "In Denial" as a choice :D
Although I agree that he won't win the election.
shit, i would...my fanhood started with Marvin and all the way thru to today and i've seen all his fights...he has his set of stylistic flaws but the given is the excitement factor...that's his selling point...he doesnt know how to talk shit
Aight thats why I said in my humble opinion. I acknowledge that something like entertainment factor is up to perception and opinion.
you're right, he's not exciting
lol I didn't say he's not exciting I just said I wouldn't put him as one of the most exciting fighters of all time thats all bro.
i stopped right there...sorry

He is obviously hiding the fact that he is on something and retiring is the best way.
that's because you're a biased tool who prefers not to regard his accomplishments.
a lot of flomos/haters will be happy when PAC leaves...only to find out later that losing one of the most exciting fighters ever kinda sucks
i went thru this with Tito...i was a hater but when he retired (the first time), i actually got bummed knowing that we wouldn't see the fireworks that he brought to the ring
I don't think he's one of the most exciting fighters ever... thats a stretch in my humble opinion.... personally I'd like to see a mayweather fight before he goes or atleast a mosley fight but if the dude wants to retire after his long punishing career I can't be mad at him. With that being said, to say manny has nothing left to prove would be undermining how good of a fighter he is. To not hfight mayweather would leave a considerable gap in his career. I mean here we have the rare opportunity of two great fighters in a similar place in their career from a prime fighting shape standpoint and he retires now...it would just be disappointing.
I will be sad that i will never see him fight in the ring again but i am happy that he didn't bow down to floyd's demand and for not giving floyd the opportunity to earn his highest payday.
He has accomplished alot, and he can finish on top as a relatively young man. It's hard to argue with it. I just wish Roy Jones and other greats would have done the same thing.
I'd be disapponted to not see him fight Mayweather but its his life.. He's rich and has good health, why jepoardize that? But as a fan, of course I'd wana see him in that megafight against floyd
It'll be sad when he retires but boxing is still exciting without Pacquiao. Remember we still got, not one but two great heavyweight champs; they're as entertaining as PACQUIAO.
