All post 193 show is how little you understand about business.
Just because HBO charge $50 for a PPV doesn't mean that what they give per buy to the promiotion companies.
Just because teh promotion companies get a % of the PPV doesn't mean that the fighters get all of that %.
HBO probably paid in the region of $5-10 million promotion the fight, they would budget on a reasonable expected PPV numbers and keep a mark up that would return of said 5-10 million + profit of a minimum of 25%, i heard many predictions of 500k buys as a reasonable expectations of teh buys for this fight.
500k buys makes $25,000,000 HBO would want $12,500,000 back (50% of the revenue), leaving $10,000,000 for Floyd (40%) and $2,500,000 (10%)between GBP and Marquez. and that doesn't even take in governing bodies.
Even supposing 1.6 million buys.
thats $40,000,000 to HBO, $32,000,000 to floyds camp and $8,000,000 to marquez.
however, Floyd minimum 10% cut probably measn that if they do over that minimum expected his cut OVER that will reduce, but i'll leave that and address floyds maximum 32 million.
Fighters do not get the whole cut. they have to pay TAX, they have to pay training expences, employee in terms of cut men, doctors, sanction fee's. etc.
you sir should stick to extentions on boats and stay away from accounting because you fcuking suck at the basics let alone the detail.
When you apply for a credit card or loan application, do you quote your gross salary or effective salary which would include deductions for federal/state taxes, Social Security, and any benefits you enjoy?
Horus is speculating on gross numbers Mayweather may realize.
