Corner man advice can never be underestimated. I think belief in trusting what he is telling you can sometimes make or break a fight.
For some reason the first thing that cropped up in my head was the infamous line of "double and then triple the f@ckin jab"
this fight shouldn't be happening yet. Chisora should be looking towards picking up the EBU belt, or at a stretch testing himself against fringe contenders. He has talent, but nowhere near enough to beat the bros. anytime soon.
I'd actually like to see him whoooooop Harrisons arse instead of Haye.
If it does happen, Wlad by UD....Delboy has a chin i heard, never down at any level of his career.
Your not Frankie Gavin are you by any chance?
I think Chisora will last longer than Peter but I don't think he's anything special.
On Froch's twitter, less than two days ago he stated that he is "raring to go" and that he had had "an outrageous fitness report back from the lab". Hmm, something isn't quite right here. It's possible he's hurt his back at the weekend, but dubious to say the least...
Outrageous report is obviously a positive thing. He goes from having a good report, to having a back injury within a day or two, possible but not plausible.
Is this card a big deal in the UK?
Is it getting a lot of mainstream press? How many PPV buys do you guys think it can get?
Yeah it's getting a fair bit, i think it's a really good platform for any number of fighters to really make a name for themselves. No idea about PPV numbers but it will do really well I imagine. Just loads of good, tough fights.
I think most has been said. Oscar was never going to win the fight though I think it was his corner that quit for him. He was shot and had nothing left. Victor was an up and comer with it all to prove.
On one hand I feel that who am i to say another person, all be it a boxer, has not taken enough punishment.
Then on the other, it's the fight business, pain and hurt are the price you pay. Often how much you are willing to overcome those obstacles dictates your success.
I think the fact that his mindset was "I don't deserve to get beaten up like that" will always leave a grey cloud over him for his future.
Allan Green has never shown me ****. He talks the game and has never delivered. He should thank his lucky stars he managed to wangle his way into such a prestigious tournament. Kessler will murder him.
