Rigged/fixed fights, which fights make/made you skeptical?
DLH-Pac did not look right to me, it probably wasn't fixed, but i cant say there weren't times in that fight where i started thinking to myself, this is a god damn fix!
What other fights you got?
that's one of the least likely fights to be fixed. why would delahoya help top rank? he wanted to beat pacquiao and make top rank look bad but instead he got battered and had to resort to making up steroid allegations with team mayweather to try to slow pacquiao's career momentum.
i think HBO and DLH were just trying to build Mayweather and Pacquiao as superstars, DLH had no intention of ever fighting again.... and since no one wanted the mayweather rematch, it was the only fight for a huge payday...
So he stilll made a lot of money from the fight, and makes money from Pac...
Pacman-Cotto was kinda funny,Cotto came out pumping that jab, then put it away & hid it like he didn't want it to get hurt after the second round, kinda odd.I've never seen Mosley hurt anyone like he hurt Floyd & suddenly forget how to finish!!
Pac/Clottey and Pac/Margarito
There is just no way that Arum would let those two people with next to no marketability be the guys that beat Pac...especially Clottey wouldn't draw 20 people to his back yard, and in a showcase fight in Texas stadium...Clottey was not there to win, and he fought like that.
Now we'll see how mysteriously Margarito is no longer the come forward all out attacker he once was
DLH-Pacquiao...its just looked too obvious to me that DLH was pulling punches.....
IMO

Julio Caesar Garcia threw the fight against Troy Browning.
Dude was like 42-1 going into the fight against a guy who had been retired for 4 years. Everytime he let his hands go he started to dominate, but then he would just let Browning off the hook. Garcia would blatantly drop his hands and walk into shots as well that allowed Browning to win rounds.
Weirdest fight I have ever seen live.
If you don't believe me, download it and watch it. I believe Garcia was having problems with his management and promoters because they were expecting him to fight constantly. After all he had already fought 45 times by the age of 21... but I am pretty sure he lost the fight on purpose just to spite the people who he felt were being greedy and using him.
EDIT: Here is the fight on youtube if you don't believe me
both those fights looked very suspicious.
bhop/oscar was a laugher.
Mosley hits Floyd once, and then never again the whole fight. come on now. A guy who's been a finisher his entire career put NO PRESSURE whatsoever after that big right hand. Even Chop Chop followed Floyd to the ropes and swung his heart out.
And Clottey, shaking his head when his trainer said to "open up". Now I've had diarrhea before, too...but damn. He was landing decent shots out of his shell....then nothing.
F**CK that. both these recent fights were fixed.
And let's just see how "real" the Margarito fight is.
A real man would have said fook it and just shat in his corner
that was totally fixed then good Ole Boy Jerry Jones doubles his purse after the fight
hhhmmmmm
I was totally thrown off on how SSM didnt go for the kill after that shot and how he was focusing on the body and not the head
one more right hand would have knocked Floyd down or had him on queer st.
Pacquiao/Clottey wasn't fixed. Clottey just didn't want to fight. It's not like the dude's known for throwing 1000 punches, and brawling.
And LOL @ Mayweather/Mosley being fixed.

DLH-Mayweather is shaky to me as well. Looked like both fighters were holding back. I remember after that fight telling everyone there would be a rematch and people telling me I was nuts. Then they started negotiating for a rematch a few months later...
i bet delahoya wanted to rig the rematch so he would win and mayweather wasn't having any of that so he walked away.
Holyfield vs Lewis 1- was definitely rigged
Cruz vs Casamayor- judges can't be that stupid
De La Hoya vs Hopkins- I think that Oscar thought that him standing in front of Hopkins before taking the dive would make him look heroic, but most didn't bite.
De La Hoya vs Mosley II- I had people paying up bets at a fight party, before the decision was announced.
Oscar did say he was shocked in the end cuz they were finally actually trading...who knows...
I don't think we saw 100 percent effort from either guy that night...
Oscar was in the fight until Rd. 8 or 9 and as soon as Floyd started REALLY working that was all she wrote...
Yeah, that was strange to me. It looked to me like Floyd coulda been tapping his butt whenever he felt like it. But he was very relaxed that night. I know he's a defensive fighter but he did the bare, bare minimum. All guesswork on our part though. But DLH-Hopkins? Come on, man. That's the definition of a fixed fight.
