Nobody is going to accept a lie. He fucked that guy up. Your an idiot, Hopkins lost the decision but who cares he still won the actual physical altercation. He was healthier after the bout, with no cuts or bruises and without being knocked down.PHysically he won.
I agree, and thats one of the biggest problems with the sport in my opinion, is how a person can throw 50 patty cake punches and outscore a person who lands cleaner harder shots in a lower count.
Now im not saying Hopkins did enough to win the entire fight but i do feel it was way more closely contested as the judges and people are making it out to be.
i actually enjoyed Hopkins and Winky. My fav fight this year still has to be the Pavik Miranda match up but i wouldn't call the hopkins winky a bad fight. Although i wasent expecting winky to look that sloppy, the man was just throwing his arms everywhere and didnt even really attempt to establish his jab.
i dont regret paying to watch this event.
Running in and flaying your arms around might get u somewhere in a street fight but in the sport of boxing it just makes u looks like shit. Hopkins won clearly, its not all winkys fault his corner kept telling him to make it a dog fight he just looked completely out of his element.
by no means am i a fan of Mayweathers style i personally dont like boxers who live within the point system but i honestly dont see anyone in the weight class being into neutralizing him.
Hopkins almost won the first time around and that was when jones was prime. I see an aging Hopkins UD ing a washed up RJJ, i think it would deliver. i see it being a good match of two fighters with deteriorating skills leaving it all in the ring... hopefully.
