i just dont see Oscar winning this. I do not think so highly of him these days as a fighter.
ofcourse I would like to see him win because I dislike PBF even more but i doubt it will happen.
great news. Thanks.
Would love to see him fight Ricky Hatton. I think he's overrated and Oscar exposing him would be another nice notch on his belt before he hangs them up for good
no, some of those KO's are from 2003 and even earlier.
i agree though they shouldve put the Igor Vovchanchyn vs. Bueno KO on there from long time ago.
but then again, it's MAXIM magazine not a bunch of purists
i thought Toneys brain injury has been obvious for many years.
Listen to his interview with Roy Jones Jr from 10 years ago. Theyre both talking clearly and RJJ still is. Roney now talks with a slurr and somewhat hard to understand these days
I could see him slowly picking De La Hoya apart. Causing some bruising and bleeding, coasting to a decision.
Then again, PBF looked like shit in his last fight that I watched against Zab Judah. I would love to see Oscar win this but I dont think that will happen.
I hope it's a close fight that goes to decision... why? So there can be a rematch.
Make more money. Get boxing back in the spotlight. There hasnt been a big money fight like this for YEARS.
...and if the big fights like this did not make huge money, than there would be no motivation for those small time local fighters to continue training and bashing each others brains in.
You're an idiot if you don't think this is good for the sport of boxing.
Wow. Great news for Boxing!!!
when everyone was saying "MMA is taking over, boxing is dead".... Box office will be shattered. So fuck all the doubters. Even though I'm a huge MMA fan I love to see boxing suceeding as well!
This event will make $45 million, atleast.
None, but like I said it's good to see Boxing making huge money in a time where many thought it was dying out.
Perhaps you would rather enjoy watching poker or dog competitions on espn?
Sylvia is a paper champ. He's the 5th rank Hw which is pathetic considering he is UFC champ. PRIDE has atleast 5 guys that would embarass him.
Tim makes the UFC look bad
Here is some more info on Sergei Kharitonov, just incase you didnt believe me that he's a legit Boxer.
oktober 2003 he was a tajikistan citizen boxing for tajikistan in asian games, he won silver medal lossing to uzebek Rustam Saidov. He got opportuinty to box at Athen Olympics2004 for Tajikistan but instead he fought in pride HW GP 2004.
Before that he went to bangkok july2003 to compete in "world amature boxing championships" but lost in the first round to Oleg Kryzhanovskiy (BLR).

and it was in the PRIDE 2004 Heavyweight GP (grand prix) where he destroyed UFC Champ Tim Sylvia. Unfortunately Sergei later lost in the semi finals by decision.
Anybody have videos of his boxing matches?
King has Nikoli Valuev?
Why aren't we seeing blockbuster Valuev fights in America then? Why hasnt he ever been on PPV?
I thought Don King was the best promotor... shouldnt he atleast be able to get his guys on PPV
i dont think acne would pop from being punched since it's under the skin and has to be squeezed out
if a boxer had really bad acne he would probably have a lot of scar tissue though. due to this he could have less feeling in his face (not that boxers feel much pain during the fight anyways) or he could have more scar tissue which leads to easier cuts
