If Canelo really wanted to prove himself he should fight Andre Ward at 168lbs since he is always over 178lbs anywhere.
Canelo has made a career of fighting small guys.He moved Lopez from 135lbs and moved Hatton from small weights when there were well deserving guys at 154lbs.
Canelo's own manager has said that Canelo is always way over 170lbs and said Miguel Cotto (who Floyd fought at 154) was actually a welterweight.
