It sucks he is going to lose to Kessler because I really like Ward and think he is one hell of a talent. This is an ENORMOUS step up in comp though. I agree, Its a huge step up for him. If he comes out victorious, sky will be the limit for him.

Andre Ward is a class act, no doubt. In all his interviews he comes across as very mature and respectful. That pretty much sums it up right there. Andre always comes across very respectful and seems to be a class act.

Yeah, he's definitely a cool cat. Hopefully he has something extra then just being cool, because he going to need a lot more then that to defeat the likes of Kessler. I'll be rooting for him nonetheless.

I would like to think if he gets by Kessler then he would be a sure shot to win the entire tournament. However, that tournament is packed with some solid pros. There will most certainly be style clashes where Andre may not be able to mesh well with and overcome.

Erm i didn't think he looked good at all imo the fact that he won on one scorecard was borderline criminal.. I dont think he won the fight either. I just thought I was noticing a lot of similarities between him and Oscar Larios.

I have to say, you guys are hilarious. But if you must know, then I will say, Paul Williams never beat, whipped, or even stepped in the same ring as me. Andre Ward is a good dude, why we cant leave it at that?

Andre Ward is a gentleman in every sense. The only thing about that is, good guys usually finish last. Hopefully, Andre can break that cycle.

How did this go from more or less being an appreciation thread for Andre Ward's character to guessing who I am? For that, I would have just started a thread saying, "Guess Who I am." And Greg Leon guys? Please, that dude(not that I know him, but heard about him)and Andre Ward shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence together. Once again, Andre Ward is a great human being, hopefully he can one day be as Great as a fighter.

I dont see much movement from either Johnson or Cloud. They could do this one in a phone booth. These two will be in front of each other all night throwing shots.

He could have fought k9, who is no world beater but actually the number 1 contender and more worthy challenger. He could even had a rematch with Verno the oldman Phillips. But James De La Rosa. What? Why?

Lets see how Quintana does against Phillips and then will see. The uintana who was actively fighting, Whips simms!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I think Simms maybe stronger and probably faster. But I think Quintana has the better skills overall.

Caballero's height and awkwardness may be a factor at first, but I can really envision Juanma breaking Caballero's jaw leaving Caballero helpless and forced to quit on his stool.
