Serious question. Even doe this isn't the court room, shouldn't he have to recuse himself? He's not a play by play guy, he's paid for his opinion and he obviously has tremendous animosity for one of the combatants. How can there be any expectation of impartiality? What do you guys think?

You guys have any thoughts on this? I think unless Vasquez fights elite guys his running style is very effective for winning decisions. This video concerned me even more: I doubt they even worked specifically on cutting off the ring, sounds like the reporter told him all he knows about Vasquez.

Honestly, I felt pretty sick watching that sparring. People were getting seriously hurt, and most definitely concussed. Mr. Mayweather himself mocked someone who was seriously hurt, and they were sparring brutal 30 minute rounds until someone quit. I think it may even be illegal, but I know for damn sure it is unethical. No wonder TMT fighters except Floyd lose all the time. Imagine all the concussions Love must have sustained over the years due to the stupid dog house mentality? I do not think that type of sparring makes a fighter better. They are getting insulted from all the morons around the ring, taking punishment for no real reason. Then you have someones mother and brother there trying to avenge a loss, and someone who just sparred brutally is forced to get in the ring and go till exhaustion again?

I really consider what Quillin did the equivalent of losing.

I have NEVER seen such a pathetic champion in my life. The whole if the money is right routine is hiding what has to be a tremendous amount of self doubt and fear. The price is always right for non threatening opposition. Getting 1.4m to fight Koborov is a great deal, and no fighter would say that the price is not right. He is an absolute embarrassment to the sport, but since he has Haymon, he will get a more winnable title fight. This guy should never get any respect until he steps near GGG.

Floyd is capable of adjusting in fight, but watching tape could definitely help lesser fighters. I see Broner gladly saying he does not watch tape, and now Mayweather Sr. says he has not seen much of Vasquez, just a little bit on the radio. It is part of being a professional IMO. You should go into the fight ready, willing, and able to adjust but knowing tendencies and favored techniques is greatly beneficial! That crap about it does not matter what he does, it only matters what I do is just that, CRAP! I hope Mayweather Sr/Bey know that Vasquez is a mover... The WW division is way to stacked for Brook to take a light touch to set up a Khan fight. I really hope that fight happens at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. It is a meaningful and profitable fight. Khan, likewise, cannot take anymore tuneups, and if he fights a real contender in the mean time there is always the possibility of him getting knocked out. There is way to much talent waiting for a chance. If the Khan fight cannot be made I would like to see Brook fight Thurman.

Assuming Porter handles business tonight, what do you think, realistically, are the chances of Porter Thurman happening within the next year? Really hope they don't marinate this one. It is a meaningful fight now, and down the road it could be a meaningful fight again, regardless of who wins and loses.

I am not even interested in Garcia-Peterson, let alone the tuneup extravaganza happening tomorrow. I have seen all I want to see of Peterson, does anyone still remember the LM fight? Absolutely disgraceful showing by Peterson, he fought like he was horrified.

I feel like this is an intelligent match up to make. Broner wants a title at 140, and Garcia should have to defend it against one more legitimate challenge before he vacates and moves up. Broner gets a crack at a title, and Garcia gets a big fight. Anyone who beats Broner seems to be revered, so if I was Danny I'd jump all over it. What do you think?
