I'm just happy the fight got made and it's actually happening.
No excuses, no controversy just the two fighters in the ring. Whatever happens I hope it is clear cut and we can all see who the best fighter of our generation is.
May the best fighter win.
They are two different fighters with different styles, careers, fans and personalities.
Both will be remembered for different reasons, if Pac beat floyd there would have been legit reason to say he was the best of this generation. But the fact is he lost by a wide margin, what other measuring stick is there?
For that reason alone Pac's career will always run second to Floyds.
Khan's fights are always exciting because of his chin. Doesn't matter who he is in against there is always a possibility that he could get KTFO at anytime because of his chin.
I was surprised in this fight as he took a few clean shots and didn't go down like he usually does. Algieri must have absolutely no power at all.
At it's core this is the most important fight for each fighters career. When it's all said and done whoever wins this fight will be remembered and the loser will always have the stigma of being the 2nd best fighter of this generation.
Mayweather doesn't want to leave anything to chance, his preparation to this fight is testament to the danger that Manny brings to the table.
My take is that Floyd will win, but it won't be without Manny giving him some trouble especially early in the fight. Manny will be in and out throwing combos, as soon as Floyd gets a gauge of the distance and timing it will be difficult for Manny. I can see Floyd landing his lead straight right when Manny rushes in, plus the counter left hook over Manny right Jab - the punch similar to the Hatton KO.
Manny presents a big risk to Floyd specifically early - if Manny is to be successful he needs to KO Mayweather in the first 3 or 4 rounds.
Either way time will tell - Hopefully the winner is clear cut and there is no controversy.
We will see which side of the aussie coin Geale lands on.
People want to see him fight Golovkin
Nobody wants to see him fight Soliman in a wool-shed in Toowombah or wherever.
Geale has put it all on the line twice by going to foreign shores and now has two world straps. I think we all know that he is up for the challenge.
Golovkin is a huge gamble for him or for anyone from 154 to 160 atm, plus there is more money to be made if he fights the winner of Martinez and Chavez Jr.
Either way Geale took the risk of going overseas now he is in the driving seat, these German fighters stood on their titles for years and just fought their mandatories.
You can't hate on him if he sits on his titles and takes the most lucrative offer.
