Mayweather will ko Pacquiao in less than 9 rounds. Pacquiao has 0 boxing skills. All he know is to attack attack attack. He does not even do it intelligently. He runs in with his chin up in the air throwing punches.
This will lead to a rapid down fall. After Pacquiao realizes he can not land a clean punch he will become frustrated just like Ortiz did. its not necessarily a contradiction. He can see Cotto and Cotto can see himself as being undefeated but if the record says you have an L then you still have an L. Alot of people thiunk the Margarito win was a cheat win so you can say that its not a real loss for Cotto but he still got beat down and had the L in the ring so it will be in the back of his mind if he gets in trouble.
If Cotto beats Floyd and its announced a win. Then a week later we find out Cotto had loaded gloves & was juicing. Alot of people will still see Floyd as undefeated but that doesnt mean in his next fight he wont have that beat down in the back of his mind if it gets tough again. I think the argument can be made he hasn't improved on his natural skills but there's no doubt in my mind Roach has made him a smarter fighter and given him the mentality and game plan to win fights.

I have no idea what caused mayweather to become a PPV draw as you say. I think that when you say he could draw even against a bum, you are wrong. Unless everyone has gone stark crazy.
I am positive that he has not improved or added any fan enticing tricks to his boxing game since before he fought Oscar. And right up to then, he couldn't draw flies. He was notorious for "stinking out the house". I recall one fight of his, in a small arena, which was only about quarter full if that, and Larry merchant saying that he can't understand that "a good boxer like Mayweather, has never drawn a crowd, and stinks out the arena". He then pointed out people who were actually getting up and others who were walking out during the fight. He said that this was normal for a Mayweather fight.
