I like how Ward fans keep calling out a middleweight while wards last fight was at 172, how about you all move on and push for a Kovalev fight? it Seems ward and his fans aren't to eager for that. :bottle:
Seems to me GGG is busy cleaning up 160, Ward vs GGG seems unrealistic based on the weight difference, C'mon that fight isn't going to happen anytime soon Ward last fight was at 172, Kovalev is on HBO aswell only 3 pounds north. To me it's obvious ward wants what he thinks it's an easier fight in GGG and doesnt even mention Kovalev in fear that it would spark interest.
Ward keeps busy with his fight on the Canelo-Cotto PPV card, fights Golovkin on PPV in Feb/Mar (Canelo-Cotto, with or without the WBC belt, are likely going to fight twice and WBO champ Andy Lee has bigger money fights in Eubank Jr and Jacobs-Quillin winner once he has his fight with Billy Joe Saunders, and there's no way that HBO puts out the big money for Golovkin-Heiland or Golovkin-Johnson), has an early summer fight at the full 175, probably has one more fight in the fall, before closing out the year with Kovalev (if he still has any belts around his waste).
Golovkin and his camp spent the better part of two years talking ****, building their name off of some foolish thought of every fighter being afraid to step in with him; they kept throwing around Andre Ward's name, and Ward's taken that a bit personal and wants to simply make an example of Golovkin and his camp.
If you're going to talk all of that mess, you better be well and ready to back it up.
That's the thing, he isn't going to fight ggg, ward is a diva to negotiate with he thinks he's worth more than he is that's why he lost all those lawsuits and is now broke and desperate for a big money fight. To say GGG built his name off ward is idiotic, he built his own name by knocking people out. If anything ward is the one using his name to stay relevant, who has he fought since he drained Dawson? All ward has done is email hbo saying he wants 50/50 ha. Sorry but roc nation isn't going to wait around for ward to squeeze back down to 168 and wait for ggg, they are a corporation and chances are they will probably make him fight kov.
salido
Orlando Salido tested positive for drugs the first time he fought Guerrero but was then disputed because he took it to court and with a second test he came out clean. The fight was still named a No contest but he didn't get any suspension time, even tho the IBF stripped him of his tittle. Its all bull**** Salido is a clean fighter.
:hitit:If Chino was any good then these magical gloves he keeps begging to wear wouldn't be an issue. Obviously these gloves aren't on the up-n-up or he wouldn't be crying about them. Wear regulation/respectable gloves like every other fighter you POS. Stop trying to pull a Antonio Margacheato with this glove BS. ...... *****s are so full of fecal matter. Look it up it was all an act team may weather paid maidana 1.5 million to wear the power locks. If anyone's a cheater its Floyd with his elbows he should be DQ. If maidana is a cheater why pay a cheater 1.5m ? Floyd fanboys just go with the flo mo
Marquez welcomes all testing, he wants OST Testing if the 5th meeting happens. Only one denying extra testing is Pac and Slob Arum. Look it up there's an article about it in LA times.
Khan PPV < 600,000
Can't wait to see Canelo get KTFO. Considering the Khanelo PPV sold so horribly that HBO doesn't even want to release the numbers, GGG is in a good place right now for negotiations. Hopefully gets a solid deal for this September! :boxing:
It was a rough fight, I would NOT say dirty, Boxing rules dictate a fighter can punch with his free hand. Guerrero was doing his thing, Berto was doing most of the holding and rabbit punching. I was hoping to see guerrero box more but a win is a win.
