i know nothing about testing or ped's but if it's so easy to cheat then i must assume everybody is on them?
p.s.
lance armstrong was a machine. he was so driven and so capable he would have won at least one tour de france anyway - quite sad really :(
Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Junior, Bernard Hopkins, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Oscar De La Hoya, Pernell Whitaker, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns probably all have more ability than Pacquiao etc
But Manny Pacquiao is right there with them all.
That's an impressive list and to even be mentioned in the same list as any of them proves he's special. To win in EIGHT different weight divisions is freakish  - very special.
Fury is a fraud a liar and a coward.
bit harsh maybe lol
BUT fury did claim that he would NEVER fight wilder again after the accusations wilder made against him - fury defo talks BS at times.
Linares is still a world class, top-level fighter and Haney won the fight convincingly so credit where credit's due! After Haney got cracked, it wasn't pretty but he survived.
*Affliction t shirt.
I actually said Ben would lose badly and also that Mir/USS would be more competitive than people were claiming it would be, and would probably go the distance.
The thing is, I am a big fan of both. If some MMA tards were talking **** about boxing I would absolutely defend it. I actually think rationally discussing the merits of both etc is an interesting topic. Unfortunately the tribalism and blind pride/defensiveness means these threads are usually ****ing ******ed.
The person that started the thread has brought your mother and homosexuals into the conversation - i don't think you're going to get a rational discussion.
So you think that fight will be bigger than fury Joshua? You dumb **** you are deluded and thick MMA is a joke just like your mother your crumpet loving mother ****er
Bit harsh! :(
I did not like the way Askens threatened Jake Paul, that if he seen him on the street he could do this and that 'This is the overall arrogant attitude Mixed Martial Artist have'.
Boxers should cross train, specifically in wrestling as I think? It would help their boxing, inside clinches etc I know David Haye used to employ such training methods.
And if by any chance a Mixed Martial artist pipes up outside the ring, their initial attacks could be nullified enough for them to be banged out.
I get what you're saying but I dont like the idea of encouraging clinching.
Fury is a 6'9, 19 stone version of Usyk with more reach and power. With Wilder, Fury always had to be cautious of the right hand. He won't care about that with Usyk so he'll just rush him and use his size and weight. KO within 5 rounds.
How many people has Fury KO'd within 5 rounds? I think Fury wins this fight but he won't stop the best boxer he's ever faced within 5 rounds imo. Usyk has the skill, the conditioning and the chin to go the distance.
Like it or not, AJ is the second biggest draw in boxing - every promoter on the planet wants an AJ on their books, including Queensbury and Top Rank. Fukn nonsense to say Hearn/Matchroom is done without AJ but obvs turnover won't be as healthy.
AJ is a convicted drug dealer and racist. Not a role model.
Convicted of drug dealing maybe, but not whilst a professional boxer - aj had turned his life around BECAUSE of boxing. Fury on the other hand, has been convicted of using cheat drugs within months of becoming the heavyweight champion of the world! He then confessed to being a serious user of a class A drug - cocaine - whilst being the heavyweight champion of the world! Both aj and fury have an argument for being good role models but for different people, at different stages of life and for different reasons.
As for aj being a racist, I can't comment on that as that's news to me. He's a black man that's maybe told a few white racists to gtf ! and me, the white guy from the highlands of scotland, has no problem with that!
Something was seriously up with his gloves though, and a respected sparring partner said he removed padding during sparring
{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","title":"fury-glove.jpg","data-attachmentid":30907567}
What you showing in the pictures? and what respected partner?
Exactly.
He has had a year of trying to make the Fury-Joshua fight.
not easy making a fight of this magnitude when the world is in a pandemic and team fury keep ducking!
I would prefer AJ to win. He's a better role model and better for the sport as he's way more entertaining in the ring - although Fury is way more entertaining outside the ring. We can use the Wlad fights as confirmation of what I'm saying. Fury's build up to the Wlad fight was VERY entertaining but the fight wasn't exciting. A masterclass from Fury maybe, but definitely boring - it certainly would not win new fans to boxing. Conversely the build-up to Wlad vs AJ was boring but the fight was VERY exciting and should/would at least be included in a conversation of best fights in the last 10 years.
Although they are both in their prime, AJ doesn't have the same experience as Fury. Josh is almost caught between 2 styles now and the difference of the five professional fights is important as Joshua is still learning and improving. I thought the Pulev fight showed a merging of his styles and certainly showed glimpses of his previous arrogance and power that makes him an exciting fighter to watch. The extra five fights would see him improve to a level where he beats Fury IMO but at the moment it's the toss of a coin for winner.
This brings me to another point, why are they not fighting more regular? I know covid for the past year has made this difficult but that's only been for a year! Canelo is showing that fighting every 6 months at elite level is possible. If we got more fights, we would be better placed to compare resumes as they couldn't "dodge" each other as readily. The various belts don't help either but that's a different thread!
Bang up job you’re doing there with your “global domination” there young Edward.....keep up the great work you gormless numpty
gormless (definition taken from the oxford dictionary) - lacking sense or initiative, foolish.
Really? I mean REALLY?? you think hearn lacks sense or initiative? you think he's foolish? :pat:
"He should fight till he's blind, that's what real men do!" - I say as I carefully place a potato chip in my mouth, while sitting on my sofa.
lol
Just watched Fury/Whyte presser - I wish Fury was as entertaining in the ring. Bad crack about Whyte not turning up and I absolutely agree with Warren when he says Whytes behaviour is "beyond ridiculous"
Okay I know the WBA have become a standing joke due to there regular/gold/interim & super champion's, but the truth is that the WBO are still the fledgling's of World boxing sanctioning bodies & as far as I'm concerned mean very little. When I started following the sport all we had was the WBA/WBC & life was far more simplistic. No way will I pay PPV for Joshua/Usick unless it's for undisputed. "Common sense needs to prevail here"!
Why wouldn't you like to see this? Usick more skilled, aj more powerful - result could go either way?
There was a guy commenting on it about the years ago. Dude from the states. Sparred with both Tyson and Hughie. Its on youtube.
i will take a look. Ta.
You are completely wrong to say AJ is the better role model.
Fury is a good traditional family man, the day after his win over Wilder he was on talk shows with his wife Paris and kids showing what a good man with ethics he truly is.
AJ on the other hand is a lying deceitful cheat in his personal life. He took his son and got rid of the kids mum by force and now plays around like the lecherous man that he is. Is this a good role model for you??
You are falling for the image that his promotion are trying to push and all his words and actions are carefully choreographed. Fury just says is as it is and plays it a bit like the WWE but look at both private life's and it is clear who the real role model should be.
AJ was also a drug dealer etc and the real AJ is not as pleasant as you may think.
have you met or do you know the real aj or are you just believing the unpromoters?
Fury was caught taking "cheat" drugs and openly admitted to taking recreational drugs - not when he was a kid, but when a fully fledged boxing professional!
The stuff about aj taking his kids from their mother is stuff I can't comment on as I don't know anything about it. FYI - my ex-wife spout's all sorts of "facts" about me but that doesn't make them true.
aj would probably be in jail if not for boxing. fury would probably be in jail if not for boxing. boxing has saved many from jail and everyone of those saved are good role models for boxing. So, I will concede, that both are good role models but probably for different people, for different stages of life and for different reasons.
aj is the more exciting fighter though :)
Sent an offer? XD
There's nothing to offer.
It was all agreed 10 month's ago. 10 months!
All that has been sent is the only official offer that's been made by the Saudis. That's it.
Money first Edward & 2 faced Aj dgaf about human right's just that government cheque.
Can't wait for Fury to bludgeon the trinket belt holder.
If fury takes a fight in saudi, he dgaf either. If you buy a ticket, you dgaf either. If I buy a ticket, I dgaf either......and so on and so forth.
fury is also annoying me. over the last few days he has been unravelling. he now claims absolute nonsense about giving up if he doesnt knock aj out within 3 rounds - out of ALL the fights he's had, how many has he stopped within 3?
Aghhh Anthony Joshua the big racist fraud that’s not even accepted by the black community. The “black quitter”. Dude went to America and laid an egg, got beat senseless by that fat kid with fast hands who lives on snickers. Joshua is literally a star in Britain only. Nobody cares for who he is in America. He went there and quit. Fury is mobbed everywhere he goes in America. Only guy gaining clout of this fight is Joshua!
lastly, same aj that does and says exactly how he’s told to say it. Lost a fight and then sulked and let his mask slip all because the public laughed at the way he quit. Now he’s back to been the real aj, the wannabe street kid that was made to sell cannabis by an older kid.
if Joshua was so loved by the people, why did his own race steal his Range Rover and Violate his property and all that? Something isn’t adding up their is it.
my goodness :tool:
Who cares if I annoy you. Go cry somewhere else.
Also Eddie's daddy Barry fingered you when you were a kid.
you love eddie! :luvbed: he's all you talk about  and you have pictures of him everywhere
:lol1::lol1::lol1: We just want to watch boxing, IDGAF... Am sure non of the boxers, their teams, families GAF too...
I"ll be buying a ticket
