Why do UK fighters fold up like cheap lawn chairs? Is it something in the UK water? Lack of sun light? Genetics?
Josh Taylor and Jose Ramirez are getting it on in 2 weeks, will taylor be the next UK victim to fold up on US Soil?
How does North American boxing differ? I know Mexican style as they call it, is the walk forward high pressure style, which I love to watch personallly. Call me a casual, but I like to see those highlight reel KOs which is why I like Wilder so much.
Boxing in US particularly is alot more physical... with many fighters forgoing the 'hit/dont get hit" phylosophy ( Floyds an exception) ... America style is much more clinching, tieing up, wearing you down than standard boxing from Europe... Europe also tends to focus alot on contact where theres ALOT of American fighters who rely quite a bit off the harder knock out punches.... What Americans have I think most over other regions is the level of "athleticism" to them... many are very well roun ded athletes beyond just boxers?
While OP is trolling there's a grain of truth.
A lot of it comes down to the trainers and training.
A lot of the UK trainers do not belive in sparring wars and think that it's best to keep the fighters "fresh" for the big fight.
Two UK fighters who are known for sparring wars are Carl Froch and Derek Chisora, and I don't think their sparring wars did them any harm.
Eubank Sr was another one who had wars on camp.
I've mentioned this a few times but we see a lot of Mexicans upsetting the big favorite Brits due their tenacity and the lack of tough sparring for the Brits. I think they need to come to America and go to these gyms with high pressure Mexican fighters and get some rounds in. Obviously Canelo is different but just in general. This is why I suggested Josh Kelly come to Texas and train with Derrick James and get the high level sparring in the gym and run in the heat.

As someone who fights and trains, I think European style is pretty much about orthodox upright boxing with hands also raised. There is way less emphasis on head movement, upper body movement and they actually tend to prefer fighters being more nimble to maintain better footwork. Adding to this as the poster you're quoted very rightly put it, there is way less emphasis on sparring. I follow some boxing channels and many of the american ones put great emphasis on showcasing sparring and gym wars, the UK ones seem to be obsessed with bullocks sports science, fitness bullshit.
I'm also a Brit and really like Wilder, but Wilder is very much an example of an American fighter. His fundamentals are poor BUT he has a great right hand, his trainers (quite rightly in my opinion) tailored his style to his right hand instead of trying to build some mishmash of styles hardly indicative of his talent. If Wilder was British he likely would have been moulded into some also-ran heavyweight who doesn't even use his most effective weapon.
AJ clearly quit against Ruiz, his Brit-Quit side came out in that one.

No spices in their food
need rhythm like the brothas and latinos.
black Brits have flavor in their food and box well: Lennox, Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn, and even Joshua
as for Fury he’s Irish and a bit off in the head crazy. Irish stereotyped as the fighters of Western Europe
I loved those spices in Charles Martin's DNA. How long did his defence of his world title last? 35 seconds?

It's funny your sig picture of a guy that easily shows that's not true
Look at all the nationalities of guys wilder has destroyed and then look what happened when uk fury got hit with it
Retrieve buddy
Culture...
North AMerican style(s) of boxing are SOOO different than European style... with that comes pressure from judges and analysts to somewhat make that transition when fights happen in US... Not at all saying any dirty tactics.. at all.. Both styles are beautiful... But European (British) style boxing favors more of the "ammateur rank style"... hitting/ not getting hit ...then they come and face our style and its MUCH different...
Class example... Prince Naseem years back.. what 30-0 they were painting him as the "Floyd Mayweather" of that current time period.. One thing.. he had NEVER fought away from Europe or in AMerica... he got his ass completely tore up when he did..and after a return fight soon retired.... There is a LONG history of these examples...
Myself I would love to see the sport invest more in Japan's boxing scene... and ultimately see matchups of Mexican fighters and quality Japanese fighters.... I think thats a VERY untapped market place and could be huge

white people need to go back to beating their children too
instead western whites are devolving raising their kids as gender neutral. Wtf
the liberal white female is a virus upon western civilization
Yup..its an absolute CANCER ... and lets be honest... Entertainment/ Sports Entertainment...all of them..have effectively abandoned true competitions in many senses and adopted this "Private Membership Club" for people in the clique... If your part of the right gym, part of the right team, part of...part of... society gets to see you.. while very rich talent not in that clique is left out.. Its that way in Hollywood.. in sports...all of them... *Popularity is key component to what we see and get entertained by these days yes even in sports... and even that (popualrity) is an illusion... Followers and "internet traffic" can be bought and paid for if you have real investors... The addition to online gambling will also play a huge future role in what we see in this sport.. and others... Not that it hanst always been there in other parts of the world.. But NOW that we Americans have accepted it.. its about to get REAL STINKY around here... wait and see... It wont matter in say 6 years when the Sauds and UAE have bought up literally every sport and top promotions and were still paying for PPV's while being hosted in those countrys.. Writings on the wall allready... These sports are fixing to leave us for bigger margins built by fake kingdoms..Its a guarantee
This is a fair point i'll give you that howver, Ramirez is a diff beast compared to prograis. Ramirez is going to raw dog taylor.
Prograis is a far better fighter than Ramirez IMO.

Taylor wins easily… he’s levels above Ramirez.
Just waiting on him for my acca. Had Parker and Canelo by KO.
We are built even softer nowadays, you know this new generation . You see how Eastern European train their little ones, over here it would be called “Child abuse” ....So we grow up soft. Even in the schools here, same thing...
I think thats a pretty "fair" conclusion for there.. but in USA we either raise our kids exactly like that...or we abandon them to figure shit out on there own fairly early... so not sure what the answer is.. Were basically talking about entirely different styles of fighting tho to a large degree?
They are used to british stoppages.
You could be onto something here. Opponents are given less chance to get back into the fight from a losing position against the A side.
Okay so big names aren't used to a dogfight, proper scraps against lesser opposition. But what if they've never tasted defeat? They're even less prepared because they never had to come back after being seriously hurt a la Gatti, Chico Corales etc
Taylor is a good fighter and I have him favorite to win the fight. Simply has more in his tool bag. Brits love to hype their fighters and when they step up they loose. Also it is the easy UK money because the fan base do support their fighters. Look at the night before how many had Saunders winning by decision and talking a lot of smack. The only Canelo lacks is foot speed.
Gyppos fold easily. Especially braggart imposters like blow job saunders who always had a dog turd of a resume and had never been tested before.
This being a braggert you talk about.. is that honestly something anymore we should hold against certain fighters ? The sport is different now.. I think fighters understand this... what many see as bragging is simply a fighter trying NOT to be swallowed up by an industry that would just as soon look past them?
I dont see braggerts as "bragging" anymore..I see it as a survival tactic in a sport so conviluded... Its just the reality we live in isnt it these days? I hate it for sure.. you want that kind of "drama" go watch pro wrestling.. but I do think some of it is a "replacement" for lack of truly QUALITY fights being made or not made... And I think THAT is dude to pressure from Sports Commissions and the whole "head injury/concussion" aspect... What Muhammad Ali wound up "turning into" I think shook boxing and has changed it for ever..SO now its a bit more of a "show".. with less likelihood of Absolute SHOWDOWNS of top tier talent anymore.. There way of preventing a Canelo or someone elite from turning 50 and slurring in future interviews ? Much more of the "Ali effect" and it will literally be the end of pro boxing in this society?
