What does Pac bring to the table that Hatton doesn't?
Both great fighters with a large fan base.
Sure Pac is P4P #1 but Ricky is still the man at 140 and it is Pac who is the challenger.
If Pac was a mandatory, he would receive less than 50-50, Hatton is doing him a favour by offering him this deal.
Take your bullshit elsewhere.
Pac is a great fighter, but he is underestimating Ricky Hatton.
BLUE MOOOOON!!!!!
28pac should get more because we would all have to put up with drunken brits singing that annoying hatton in wonderland song.
29. Hatton and his fans will booo the American and filipino anthems, then drunkenly sing out their God Save The Queen anthem.
Why the fuck would they play the American anthem?
Hatton is not American, neither is Pacman, so tell me, why would they play YOUR anthem?
Roy Jones was 50 and 0 until he lost to Tarver, we all know he beat Montell Griffen
Except rules are rules, and he wasn't.
And I doubt he would have been 50-0 when he fought Tarver either.
Did you discount the rematch from your calculations?
If Roy had won the first fight there would have been no rematch, so Roy would have been 49-0, therefore never beating Rocky's record.
Joe pulled out of a fight with Johnson twice. Fact.
Nice spin though.
No spin, Joe got injured twice, and then as a replacement Johnson fought (and ultimately knocked out) Roy Jones Jr.
After what Johnson saw as a huge victory, he decided Joe high risk, low reward so he dodged him.
Nice try though.
The "old" Lacy would have a good chance.
After Calzaghe dismantled him and destroyed his confidence, however, he has never, and will never, be the same destructive fighter he once was.
Taylor by wide UD.
He dodged The United States of America :D
Ahhh, the good old US of A.
A country whose arrogance is only exceeded by it's grossly inflated opinion of itself.
A country that won NO boxing medals at this years olympics.
A country whose stranglehold has been shattered by the European fighters you were so quick to discredit as "bums".
A country that thought it would be a good idea to elect George Bush the second time round.
A country where approximately 65% of the population don't even possess a passport.
Why should he go to such a place when the obviously superior fighters are all European based?
Doesn't help that you've all got fat asses either.
haye would beat calzaghe. calzaghe doesn't have the power to hurt haye.... i think.
Calzaghe is more than able to drop Enzo Macc in sparring, he just doesn't punch with that kind of power very often to protect his fragile hands.
Could he earn haye's respect, yes.
Could he command enough respect to limit Haye's workrate and squeeze out the decision, no.
why didn't he leave him until the end of his career? he must not have been too frustrated with warren if it was completely his fault for him not getting all the fights. they both have to be blamed, you cant put it all on warren and none on joe.
But you can't put it all on Joe/Warren when he was calling out guys who refused to fight him.
Hopkins priced himself out, so did Taylor, and Jones didn't want to know.
Johnson decided Joe wasn't "box office" enough after he knocked out RJJ.
Joe had made offers to fight all of these people, none of them wanted to know.
Is that really Joe's fault, or did they just not fancy it?
