Both got strong wins over huge notable prospects, but Ismayl sent a big message outboxing despaigne which is not an easy task. This guy can beat Cleverly so badly, a future world champ in the making.
Cotto = Arguably the Quickest Opponent of Floyd since Judah
Dont count an old Mosley, Cotto is the quickest for Floyd since 2006.. I cant freakin wait for this fight.. :boxing:
Shame on those who call Ortiz stronger and faster than Cotto, yet getting KO by Maidana at 140.. Keep dreaming guys. Also, i said Cotto is ARGUABLY the quickest for Floyd since 2006, so you can discust whatever you want about, it can be a fact or myth i dont care, it is what i think about Cotto and Floyd's recent opposition. Im never bias toward any fighter from any nationality or race.
Im not talking about Cotto's speed to be supreme or anything like that, im just saying he is the quickest opponent on the other corner for Floyd since Judah.. Thats it.
The nice thing of this thread is that everyone who has jesus deep in his heart and soul reach things that seems impossible. With Jesus helping you nothing is impossible.
But hey, Zab Judah?? What about Timothy Bradley? he did thank jesus first of allwhen he beat alexander, and he is way more talented than judah. You should be rooting for that christian and not for judah!
Not only Donaire is very tall for his division but hes also very skilled. At 122 WV2 will be a tough challenge for him.. at 126 Gamboa and Lopez would be too much for him.
At 118 there is not much African Americans.. But I dont think anyone should add African Americans to their resume. Donaire is doing well and I just became a fan of him yesterday because I was rooting for Montiel to death! But I think WV2 can actually beat him!
I dont know why MMA has grown that much and getting so much love from the media I dont know.. Boxing PPVs are way better than UFCs and by much far. Strikeforce > UFC
Calderon will surprise everybody and handle this fight very easy, he wanted to brawl and bring something different to the fans in the first fight, but he will setup his brilliant boxing skills to be a champion again. Go Calderon!
Oscar was quick even then. I agree about Shane, he's not fast anymore.
Cotto's quickness is VERY underrated though. People watch him train and think he's not fast but every opponent that has faced him has said his speed is deceptive.
Cotto is unquestionably quicker than Marquez and Ortiz and I see people say Ortiz is faster, it boggles my mind.
Maybe Oscar would still be a bit faster than Cotto at 2007, but he couldnt carry it for full 12 rds.. And yes, I cant see how Ortiz is quicker than Cotto
It is a sin comparing Bruseles to Cotto please.. Nobody has outboxed Cotto yet, he only falls to pressure, something Mayweather will not bring. Thats why Cotto can take a Decision home
Cotto will find this fight easier in terms of styles. Let me tell yu one thing, for a guy like Cotto that has fought Pacquiao, Clottey and Margarito.. He will find Mayweather too easy and Cotto might feel too comfortable in the ring and imposing his style. And remember one thing, Cotto can box very well. I think Cotto wins by UD
and you are wrong.cotto is not quick at all.............he has to plant his feet to throw punches, cant fight going backwards and quick is not a asset of his.he has good timing and a decent jab and a nice left hook....but his foot speed is slow and like i said he has to be planted to unload combo's
Thats not the point, im talking about who has been bringing speed to Floyd since Judah.. Name me just 1 fighter that could bring speed for 12 rounds to Floyd since 2006.. :boxing: I know Cotto isnt a speedy freak boxer but Floyd has been limited facing speed from opponents since 2006.
He doesn't know when to call it quits. But I could imagine he realized how embarrassing his second fight with Hopkins was and wants to give a better showing.
Now he is moving to cruiser though :nonono:
He should retired since the calzaghe fight, he is just making his legacy cheap
Manny drove Floyd insane. lol.
and you still think there's a chance for a fight?
this fight will never happen. Floyd wants NOTHING to do with Manny Pacquiao.
not me, the author
