What makes Maidana scary is that the guy is relentless. He keeps coming like Jason Vorhees at you. Khan hit this guy with a perfect body blow which had him rolling in agony on the canvas. Couple of minutes later Maidana is foaming at the mouth and chasing Amir around the ring like a rabid dog. If it wasn't for Joe Cortz playing a little bodyguard Amir would have gotten KTFO. To this day Khan's people don't want no part of a rematch vs Maidana for good reason. They both fought Demarcus Corley 5 months apart. Maidana dropped him once, Matthysse dropped him 9 times.... Maidana... does. Power in Boxing is not only off of 1 punch its about the whole package(consistant power punchs and power punches from any stance) in power... Matthysse carries his power through out the whole fight while Maidana has had stamina problems in every single fight aside from Kotelnik and his punching power and handspeed seems to diminish after the first few rounds. If he was capable of fighting rds 9-12 like he does 1-4 Khan would have been ktfo.... but he doesn't.

I think Maidana does! the only difference is that Maidana is a FULL OUT BRAWLER with very limited boxing skills compared to Lucas who has Power and a little more Boxing Skills and also Better Footwork then Maidana

Comparably heavy hands, but I think LMM has more one-punch power.

I think Maidana has more raaaw power while Luca's has the better technique. One thing is for sure id love to see this fight. I think Matthysse is a relentless bugger to, just by watching him fight

matthysse is a much better boxer... maidana is just a str8 up brawler....i think if matthysse had maidanas boxing skill he would be a bum... but vice versa maidana would be winning much easier.

I don't know and i never ever ever want to find out lol. These 2 are the 2 hardest fights at 140 maybe not skill wise but both are the toughest in the division.
