Wilder punches pretty hard but Thompson probably would stop him late. Hope Wilder doesn't fight Molina - he has two KO1 against him and this will be 3rd. Wilder vs. Anyone that can go past 1 round, please!
Wow, HBO is just laying down to Haymon with fights like these. Amazing. Let's see if GGG can do what only the 17-17 Boone did! And don't forget, Monroe has 6 big KO's.
They should both just wear head gear and stage this fight in a gym because all of Johnson's fights look like sparring sessions. Another snoozer. Hopefully, gold medalist Joshua will fight someone like Jennings, Thompson, Takam, or Parker soon!
Martin would give Klitschko a better fight than Jennings. Jennings and Dallas will each go 2-3 rounds. Martin at least has size and power. Jennings undersized and underpowered.
Flores and Gonzalez both got robbed in Vegas that weekend. Different properties but same Vegas horrible judges. At what point do these officials get banned for turning in consistently lousy scorecards?
So long as his second job as a jockey doesn't interfere with boxing. Tough to get excited in a weight class with zero competition. No vision looking foward.
Wlad destroys Jennings in one-sided blowout. Fight is a joke and everyone knows it. Jennings picking up a nice payday but career is over. Has no chance to win and will take two years off after beatdown. Should have fought Wilder.
Johnson is a total bum! He throws 6 punchers per bout - Zumbano is tougher!! Sorry, I just can't stomach Johnson's style. His pattern is he talks tons of **** and then does nothing in fights. NOTHING. F-that bum
AllBoxingAD that's just silly. Do you think Tyson could negotiate better rematch terms as champion or challenger? His handlers likely left millions on the table by giving rematch options
CubanGuyNYC I think so. Styles make fights. Yes, I think a 6'5" southpaw would be tougher than Jennings. Just a different type fight. That uppercut wouldn't work like it did on Jennings, for example. Southpaw would be a different look for Ortiz. Plus the size advantage for Thompson. And Thompson is very awkward. Different fight than Jennings and harder to look good. Jennings was made for Ortiz. Kind of like Frazier style suited Foreman. I don't think Thompson style suits anyone. So I think tougher than Jennings. But I think Ustinov will be tougher than Jennings, too. Size matters.
Charles Martin is the best young heavyweight in the world. I've seen lots of his fights in California. He beats Wilder and will make a great fight with Klitschko. Great to see him get exposure now.
When the newbies say they made a "lucrative offer" they probably mean 40-50k. Not sure they really understand how things work yet. Really a bit of an embarrassment for Joseph Parker.
