Briggs, a 42-year-old American, on Wednesday gate-crashed Klitschko's training session in Hamburg, where the heavyweight champion was preparing for his bout against Kubrat Pulev on Saturday night.

Security guards ejected Briggs from the building as he shouted: "The people don't want Klitschko anymore. Champ, come out at last.

"I'm the real champ. The world wants to see the Klitschko-Briggs fight. I'll knock Klitschko's teeth out."

Briggs then peeled off his shirt and pounded his fists on the building's glass doors, demanding: "Give me something to eat!"

It was not the first time Briggs went to extreme measures to get Klitschko's attention.

He gate-crashed a press conference before Klitschko's fight against Australian Alex Leapai in April and a scuffle broke out when Briggs approached Klitschko in an Italian restaurant in Miami.

He also taunted Klitschko, the WBO, IBF, IBO and WBA champion, from a speedboat while the Ukrainian was stand-up paddle surfing in Florida.

"I really couldn't care less what he does," said Klitschko, 38, after Briggs's latest stunt. "I will just concentrate on the fight."

Briggs, who has twice held “world” titles, is undefeated in his last six heavyweight bouts since losing to Vitali Klitschko for the WBC title in Berlin in October 2010.

Wladimir’s fight against Pulev will be his 17th defence. He has held at least the IBF belt since 2006. His Bulgarian opponent is unbeaten with 11 knockouts in 20 victories.
