Listen, fighters want to quit ALL THE TIME when they are sitting on the stool....all fighters know that feeling...you say u are going to quit, u wanna' quit etc...then the bell rings...and you DO get back up... I say if Floyd is up to it, he should train extensively in all aspects of MMA. If he jumps in there with only his boxing skills, he might catch the cat with a combo for a KO, but I wouldn't bet on it. Unless, as the kid says, they break the fight into three disciplines: boxing, kick boxing, and mma. Floyd's skills would prevail in the first event. Most strict boxing pros and pundits have a warped sense of security when relying on their skills in a street fight, not realizing that a street fight is dynamic in nature and unpredictable. Same with traditional style martial artists. Many have learned the hard way that fighting an mma stylist is vastly different than fighting they're buddies from the dojo.
