I'd like to see a Cotto vs Margarito rematch.

The dude has alot of heart, is a very entertaining to watch and last but not least, he had Boxingscene going. To be honest, I want Margarito to come back and take care of Berto, clean things up a little. I'm still gonna say, he ain't beating SSM but everyone else, he is more then capable. if Margarito comes back he will be closely watched. He will never win a fight against top opposition again. Thing is, he won't get any top-level fights for ages yet. They'll just put a bunch of Golden Johnsons and other washed-up fighters in front of him to make him look good again. All will be KOs, too. Some might even be paid to take a dive. Most likely the biggest names he'll get upon returning are Zab Judah or even a re-rematch with Cintron. If a Cotto rematch ever happens, Margs is the one who'll get the wheels moving. I can just picture it now - he'll start spouting off provocative stuff like "If I really had plaster in my wraps when I made you kneel, then fight me again and see if you can beat me this time!" Actually, does Margs even talk trash these days?

Wow!!! :rofl:. If you would of said defensive, then I would be ok....but technical. I don't agree. Defence is technique, hitting your opponent and not getting hit yourself is the name of the game. Look how many big shots Mosely took when he fought Cotto. Name me some fighters that are better technically than Clottey.

Who hits Clottey flush anyways?? Hardly anybody. He has amazing defense but his output sucks. He wasn't doing that much damage as you make it seem. Margarito probably took more damage in the Cintron/PW fight than Clottey. No one hits Clottey flush..he's one of the top5 best technical fighters in the sport. His output does indeed suck, but he outboxes everyone he fights.

With plaster yes, without it he doesn't beat anyone on a top level. Mark my words, if Margarito comes back he will be closely watched. He will never win a fight against top opposition again. lmao. He didn't win because he KO'd people in 1 round. He won because he out worked, out lasted, and grind his opponents to dust. That has nothing to do with plaster. In my view, Margarito beat Clottey a lot more convincingly than Cotto did. Yeah, you can use that hand injury excuse all you want to. But Margarito was injured before the fight started, and if you are going to use that, then it's only fair that you use the instance of where Clottey was likely handicapped by a bad knee from where Cotto threw him to the ground. Margarito had no control over Clottey's hand injury.

:rofl: :rofl: How so?? Margarito won like 7-8 rounds in that fight AND was injured too. But people only seem to pay attention to the "bruised" hand. Well after the fight Margo had blood coming from his ear and his face was all red and puffy whereas Clottey didn't have a scratch. Margarito won those rounds because of his punch volume, he was throwing 100 punches a round, but most of them were blocked or grazing blows..he couldn't hit Clottey flush. All the clean punches in that fight were landed by Clottey, hence him throwing waay less, but doing more damage.

personally, i find margarito just as boring as a punching bag, which shouldnt come as a surprise because thats basically what he is........ we dont need marg, boxing has no room for cheaters.... especially cheating punching bags!
