I don't think these Floyd fanatics will ever get it. Arum attempted a second round of negotiation that was confirmed by then HBO exec Greenburg. Floyd snubbed him and went on a long vacation. Just couple of months ago Pacquiao sent Koncz to Mayweather's gym in an attempt to make the fight happen. Nothing happened.
Pacquiao offered 50/50 on the phone and Floyd turned it down. I just can't see Pacquiao doing anything more. In Pac's mind Floyd is not ready yet, or simply doesn't want it.
If these Floyd fanatics expect Pacquiao to beg for the fight, they're stupid.
Ball will always be in Mayweather's court.
:unitedsta
Just watch the video about Mayweather ranting about his health.
I like Floyd but he is scared and he is ducking Pacquiao. He basically admits Pacquaio will hurt his health and beat him...
Floyd will never be an ATG if he doesn't fight Pacquiao.
Creatine is cheating to me. Your training should consist of a healthy diet, cardio, lifting and rest.
but then we are reducing every fighter to just "who won the genetic lottery"
as long as it's not steroid level enhancing drugs, I'm cool with it.
Mayweather announced him as part of the "Bomb Team" but I doubt they can make anything official yet since he's still in dispute with Top Rank and Oner about his contract.
Good for him. I don't like the Arum types. I think all of these boxers should be ran by former boxers. They treat them better and know how the life is.
also, I think the likelihood of them bribing officials and organizations is lower.
Good. Manny has not looked really great since 2009....Floyd is getting caught a lot more lately..... good call.
Leave them tied until they fight each other, in my opinion. A true champion would be furious that they aren't seen as the best in the world, and would make financial sacrifices to just settle the score.
I hope this pisses both Manny, and especially, Floyd off... but I doubt it. Floyd seems like he will be fine heading into retirement having never fought Pacquiao, and Manny is controlled by his handlers.
Never liked Ali.
Loud mouthed self-promoter. People like that get overhyped by the media because of personality. Used his mouth to turn himself into a product, a caricature... like Santa Claus or Mickey mouse, a product to sell to the average person.
You ask any average person on the street who the greatest boxer was, they all just parrot and say "Muhammad Ali" when he obviously was not.....
Mayweathers earnings are fake
You keep saying "Mayweather earned 50 mil" but you don't count in the fact that he promotes his own fights, compared to Pacquiao. So there's expenses Mayweather has that Pacquiao does not. Pac's earnings are set, whereas Mayweather has to dish out cash out of that 50 mil he earns becuse he promotes.
Didn't Floyd just make like 32 million guaranteed against Cotto and 25 million guaranteed against Ortiz, on top of PPV revenue???? So that's 57 million before he gets his PPV %....
Once again, I'm feeding american citizens everyday.
No. Floyd promotes his own fights, so you hear "32 million" but that does NOT take into account that he has to pay for all the expenses that a promoter would have to pay.
This was the best post I have ever read on NSB.
Imagine all the hours that could be spent in the gym....
Can I post on a forum about a sport that I love, and about a fight that I want to see? Is that alright with you?
Once again, I'm feeding american citizens everyday. oh wait.
The only reason Floyd makes more per fight is because he promotes his own fights and is smart with the fights on the card, like putting a good mexican fight on Mexican Independence Day.
Manny has to pay his promoters. Forbes did a list of the world's most powerful celebrities. Manny Pacquiao was higher than Floyd.
FLoyd Mayweather's promoters threatening legal action for DEFAMATION FOR ALLEGED PED'S ?!!?
How ironic is that! Floyd's been doing this to Manny Pacquiao without any proof for YEARS.

Worst decision of a fight in so long!!! Unbelievable...wow PAC-man great fight!
its not just hbo though. Multiple people from espn had it 11-1, the associated press had it 9-3, Stephen Edwards of ********** had it 9-3, even teddy atlas called in to espn saying how Manny was robbed and hes a known hater. Dana White of the UFC even went on a tear bashing the Vegas commision where he makes his bread and butter over the result.
its not hard to tell.
Some people in the media are in outrage over this and they suspect Floyd Mayweather paid off the judges because Pacquiao's contract for this fight stipulated, if Pacman loses, a rematch must be fought immediately.
So journalists are in outrage saying Floyd Mayweather paid off the judges to avoid fighting pacman
The reason Floyd makes more per fight is because he promotes his own fights. Not because he's a bigger star.
Manny would make more per fight too if he was promoting his own fights and using Mexican Independence Day with an important mexican fight on the undercard.
Yeah, if Pacquaio wins but struggles, he should just retire while still on top. Retire while being the best in your weight class, that's how all greats should go out.
