I like the comparison to Malignaggi. Ward is a better boxer and has more power, BUT you see how Malignaggi cant beat anyone with power?!? And I bet Pauli's chin is on a whole different level than Ward's.

First off... I dont buy the whole colon issue. Im not saying he didnt have problems and needed to get them fixed. But you dont go into the fight of your life if you know you are not close to 100%. And then fight AGAIN afterwards before you get the surgery.
That being said, I will be rooting for Green if he fights Bute. Id put my money on Bute though. If he can get passed Bute, I would love for him to get his wish and rematch Miranda. I heard he wants it bad, and not doubt with a title on the line Pantera would gladly give it to him.

Ward was there. He left the gym 5 minutes after Pantera pulled up and heard he was there. He walked out and was trying to look into Miranda's van and nailed his head on the trunk of his car (it was open and he was putting his shit in the trunk). True story!

Yea, it looks like he was 'trained' on what to do. He even said that when Miranda came over he wasnt gonna sit there and take that. He stood up to show him that he wont be bullied around. It didnt seem natural with him. Almost looked like he was trying to look mean and keep the stare where Miranda looked like a stone cold killer.

Man, quit the bs to try to lure people into betting. There was no 30day weight in!! But, if there was it wouldnt have been an issue. He has kept his weight down since he fought last in London.
Today i got there around 230 to work out and i saw him hittin the pads with his trainer then he started shadow boxing and he took off his trunks put a towel on and gave his trunks to one of the guys at the gym. Some of Andre Wards trainers were there and one of them pulled out a lighter and pretender to light the trunks on fire. Andre Ward wasnt there though. The end.
Ward had just finished training as Miranda was entering the gym.
It just shows that Miranda doesnt care where he is or who is watching. He tries to make friends whereever he goes. After the open training session on Tuesday, there were hundreds of people wanting pictures with him and getting his autograph. From the way it looks, Ward is not very well known in Oakland outside of boxing fans. I think if Pantera looks good and gets the win, the people there will be proud of him and show him support.

I knew it! Miranda chickens out of the Stieglitz fight by reason of a slight cough. And all the time they had this deal of him fighting Bute instead on HBO.
Result: Stieglitz must scramble after a new opponent.
It's not the first time BTW. Miranda also made fools out of Kessler's people when warriors negotiated with Sauerland behind Kessler's back for a fight with Abraham in a shady deal instead.

Miranda can't really catch a break? What are his promoters thinking honestly? I mean we all know by now that he won't have a chance against boxer... it's nice for him to get another title shot but c'mon...
I guess it makes it official then... that he has become a gatekeeper a la Mayorga... entertaining style, gives you punchlines for promotion and leaves the fight as looser.
What are Miranda's options? Stieglitz was a great opportunity but now that this fight is not happening, what else can he do? Other than Bute, there are no other fight at SMW that offer a decent payday. I am sure that Goossen and Miranda will have a gameplan against Bute. That is something that Miranda has never had. Ward is different fighter than Bute. Bute can be hit. Miranda has a chance.
There is no way JT is going to be able to continue in this touny. I wish they would just make it offical already. It is bullshit if Allan Green gets in without at least a fight with Bika.
