Edison Miranda is indeed a pretty good puncher. I would say that he hits very hard, in comparison to many other boxers.

Edison Miranda is from Colombia. So is Shakira. I personally do not think that they look alike, but perhaps that's just because of the camera angles and lighting. They look a shade different for sure. Shakira also makes up for her lack of power punching with a large backside. I'd take a knockout blow from that most days of the week, if not all.
