May + Pac showed that money can neutralize volume punching easily. Watch the Castillo fight with May and then realize that GGG is right now the biggest threat that will never happen.
I could see Adelaide Byrd writing her scores after each round. Broner's column was on her left, Porter on her right. Every time I saw her write down a 10 for Broner I was like, really lady?
Floyd Mayweather will be getting out the way a lot smoother than Bradley I'll give him that, but I don't think he has the ability to keep up all that movement for 12 rounds:
Floyd is probably one of, if not, the best conditioned boxer today. He works hard behind the scenes and he does not waste energy in the ring. Very efficient.
Calm down he's just giving his fighter some exposure no point risking a loss on an untelevised bout.
Soon well a bunch of guys in the same division all under top rank fighting each other. Top rank is setting something up big for us.
You're right. I guess I spoke too soon. Martinez looking like a decent fighter. Garcia's left eye is visibly black already.
Great post - as a fighter (am), it's true you should not fight angry. Takes too much mental energy and results in negative physical consequences. You must be focused, relaxed as if you just woke up... can't explain it.
Here's the rest of Donaire's quote: "...But would I pull an Ortiz and be THAT close to a fighter even IF he was saying sorry? No. Id keep arms length away"
Cortez said time in... quit crying ladies.
He didn't. He motioned casually while not having any control. Ninja turtle looking mofo needs to be stabbed.
Rome is spot on. Both sides were at fault, but Victor started that ish. Only thing I disagree with Rome on is he didn't mention anything about that ninja turtle Cortez.
If he stopped the nonsense after the fight was over, stayed for the interview, showed public respect to Maidana, the fans, etc., then he would have received some respect. But that didn't happen did it?
He was expecting a body shot. :boxing:
Still, you don't drop both hands like that for anything. He was getting rocked a few seconds before this KD though, so I'm sure he was a frazzled / scared.
