Just read that oleksander Ursk has signed a pro contract (Along with Lomachenko) do you think he could be the next big thing at HW? I know he isnt what you'd call a big heavyweight but the guy has some amazing skills, looks to hit hard, has great hand speed and throws some amazing combos for a big guy. Could be a great rivalry between him and Anthony Joshua. Any day of the week i'd pick Ursk to destroy Joshua though

During my lunch break at work. I bumped into Amir Khan on cheapside (London) he was doing a photo shot for his sponsor Maximuscle. I went up and said hello etc and asked how the negotiations were going with Alexander. He said it's 99% done and should be signed any day soon. My guess is they made alexander an offer he couldn't refuse to fight out in Dubai

I've never in recent times seen a top level champion so open to the same punch over and over again. i cannot believe after the losses and amount of times he's been knocked over no one has taught him to defend the left hook over the top. If I was in Khans corner I'd tell him to only throw a maximum of 3 punches at a time and never throw his right hand unless he will land. It seems to me every time he starts to throw combo's his right hand starts going down to his side and his chin is so high in the air. I'd hate to see a massive Lucas Matthysse left hook check him on the chin.

read earlier on the side that Ryota Murata (2012 MW Olympic gold medal winner) has decided to turn pro. How do you guys think this will turn out? He has a pro style for sure and seems to be very very strong and hits hard with either hand. I think he could be a huge star in asia if prepared and marketed properly. only slight concern is that he has hardly outside game and I feel if put in with a boxer of fleet foot (Martinez) he could be out boxed to a UD. I'd like to hear your thoughts on Murata turning pro if possible.

Pretty light spar. But always worth watching two world class fighters train together. One thing I did notice, even with huge gloves and going light, you can see how heavy Lucas's hands are. Amazing fight last night and was a pleasure to watch. The question I'm asking is, will Bradley ever fight like that again? Steve Kim from Maxboxing made a good point earlier on twitter stating Bradley wore Reyes instead of his normal Grant gloves, it seems like Bradley wanted to prove to everyone he is a warrior and good value for money. It nearly back fired big time and may shorten his career. I personally think if Bradley wants to win other big fights. Rios etc then he needs to get back to his boxing and stay away from Brawling. Do you think he will adopt his stick n move style from here on out? I hope so as he cannot continue to take shots like that.

I used to hear huge huge hype for this guys a few years ago. Each time I saw him on the undercard of a big fight he looked great. Had an amazing AM career. Yet all of a sudden he has gone off the radar. I checked his Boxrec and he ahs fought bums for a few years now. Does anyone know what went wrong? Did he stop improving or lost interest? The guy is 29 now and I cant see him achieving his full potential. Anyone know anything?

I dont get it. The guy is tough as you like, has an awesome chin, keeps himself in hsape so have great stamina, when he decides to box he looks really good with a sick jab and good boxing fundermentals add to this he has a huge heart and hits really ahrd and you have one tough SOB. Ward is very overated. He ahs a decent resume but i feel Froch's is so much better. So ward beate Kessler...... He headbutted him to death and should have been DQ if he wasnt in his own town. I so hope Froch beats Wards and shuts all these haters up.

I've always been a fan of Kirkland since he got some exposure before his jail time. He looked a beast in beating Joel Julio and looked certain for a world title and boxing stardom. Obviously things panned out a little different with him being sent to jail and then getting KO'd in a round by a bum. Do you still think he has what it takes to win a title like everyone saud he could earlier in his career? I feel he really needs to spend more time getting technically better, he slugs against every opponent always going for the KO. Although he is great to watch I feel he needs to train on his jab and keeping his hands up to block punches when he comes forward.

After watching Brandons superb display against antillon at the weekend. I have to say Rios is sure as hell a throwback mexican warrior from years back. The heart with which this man fights is unreal, he will literally go to war and not take a backward step until he has won. Boxing needs guys like Rios who puts it all on the line and entertains the fans with every fight. I hope arum lines up some big money fights for this guy soon, the way rios fights means he will not grow old well so needs to make as much money as possible before he retires. On a side note, him vs Amir khan at the end of the year or early next year would be a dream fight. Both superb fighters and world champs going at it. It would be a pick'em fight and I for one cannot predict who will win.

Since he moved to HW he has talked and talked about cleaning up the division and how he will KO wlad. It didnt happen and wlad beat him with ease. He moaned and moaned about rematch clauses and now he wants an immediate rematch. Before the fight he said he will KO vitali after beating wlad, now he is running like a girl from vitali After the fight haye had blamed a broken little toe which was horrendous and was laughed at by everyone. Basically this has become Hayes worst nightmare. He has become a laughing stock and contradicted himself so many times. I feel sorry for the paying public who actually went to Germany to watch this debacle. Feel free to list any more things that Haye should be embarresed about.

This is a very big British fight at the weekend. Props to both guys taking it early in there careers. I fancy Degale in this one at the weekend. He looked so dam good when he beat the crap outta smith up in Liverpool and Grooves hasnt looke very good recently. I fancy Degale to counter punch everything Groves does and maybe TKO him mid way in the fight. I feel groves could be a much better fighter if he left the hayemaker camp. Booth IMO is not a very good trainer, Haye for instance has massive flaws that have not been sorted by booth and Groves has somewhat stagnated since first turning pro and does not seem to be improving for such a young fighter. Anyways who have you got?

I've been following Kid Chocolates career since he began fighting a few years ago. He has improved alot recently and is coming off a very impressive beatdown and tko of former world title challenger Jesse Brinkley. Peter looked technically very sound in this fight, he has good combo's and heavy hands. I hope he can learn to fight better on the inside and he can sometimes get sloppy once an opponent gets close and tends to hold on until the ref either splits them up or he can push them away to gain some more distance. He is only 27 and had hardly any amature experience. Do you think he could win a title in the future at 168 pounds? I think give him maybe 1-2 more years and 4 fights then throw him in with a world champ. At the moment i think his lack of inside fighting and ring experience would make him get beaten up pretty bad by tough fighters like froch or ward. What are your opinions?

After watching numerous interviews from both wlad and haye Im surprised how well wlad is taking the trash talk. He's laughing and joking at everything haye does. How do you think vitali would have reacted in this situation? Everyone knows vitali is the mean older brother who is your sterio typical ivan drago eastern block fighter. I for one think haye wouldnt push vitali as far because he knows vitali would probs explode in a press conference and break hae in half.

I was watching the press conference in London yesterday and Haye confirmed his first major mistake IMO. He said how slow wlad is. Wlad has always surprised people not by how hard he hits but by how fast he is for a guy his size. I haye thinks wlad will be hitting air all night then he will be in for a very painful night. Wlad will probs be the fastest guy Haye has ever fought and without a doubt the hardest. I seriously think wlad will KO haye within 6 rounds.

How would you pac fans react if he failed a random drug test for PEDS? I think you would have to discredit all previous wins and not let him enter the HOF. How would the boxing world react?

I know Peter battered brinkley in 3 rounds but did anyone see the fight? I've been an avid follower of quillin the last few years so i am interested in how he has improved. him destroying Brinkley in 3 shows he ready to step up. it took Bute over twice that and he's the so called champ.

I think this will yet again wlads best weapon against haye. What tactics do you think haye will use to avoid this ram rod jab of wlads? I cant see haye being able to avoid wlads jab. Haye has IMO very poor footwork, he kinda stubles and ends up standing square on half the time when going forward and this will not serve him well against that jab. Also wlad has some very very fast hands for a guy his size and will be able to catch haye when haye least expects it. Do any of you have an idea of how haye can avoid this jab and get inside to put the hurting on wlad?

This is the most coverage for a HW fight in ages it seems. All over the radio today has been talk of this fight. Im so glad the uK media is giving it loads of attention. This is the biggest fight bar none in the HW in years since lewis owned the division. I can only imagine what the media will be like in the days leading up to the fight. Has anyone else witnessed the media coverage this fight has gotten?

I know the big big fighters like Mayweather and Manny have $20 million plus fights but I am wondering what do most world champs earn? The likes of martinez and Hopkin level fighters? Are they on like 2-3 million a fight or less. It's just out of interest in seeing how much the top guys earn.

After watching the 6th round of that great fight at the weekend. Do you think it'll be round of the year? I dont see how i can be bested. It was such an awesome round. That right hand Victor took was nasty and he continued to get pounded for teh rest of the round up until the last few second when he blasted Berto with a short hook that droped berto. The best part was manny stewards reaction lol It was hilarious. 'OH MY GOD' That 6th round is the reason I love boxing so much. No other sport can you have the exitement that boxing brings when 2 warriors enter the ring to do battle. A true gladitorial sport.

What is the most shocking punch you have witnessed in a boxing match? I remember watching Roy Jones vs Tarver 2. Roy looked like superman his whole career, no one could stop him. he was unreal. Then all of a sudden he was ko'd with one punch from Tarver. I was speechless I was so shocked he was beaten in the manner he was! What was the greatest and most shocking punch you have witnessed watching live boxing?

After the debacle of this weekend. What will happen when Haye eventually gets KO'd by wlad? Will the Hw division still drip feed K2 easy fighters to destroy? I like both Wlad and Vitali but its getting very stale seing these lazy zero hunger fighters get in the ring only to be KO'd in roudns 8-12 without even putting a fight up. Will anyone other than Haye actually go in there and try to beat K2? I just want to see an entertaining edge of your seat style scrap similar to vitali vs Lewis. That was a great fight with bombs landing both being hurt and blood everywhere. I hope haye comes to fight and gives these other contenders something to emulate when facing either brother.

I've given Haye loads of stick the last few months due to him avoding Wlad. Im so glad that its now signed and hopefully they will finally meet. I think hayes only chance against Wlad is to come out early doors and go hell for leather and try and ko lwad early with an overhand right. I think once haye looses even a slight amount of speed and starts to beath a little heavy them Wlad will start to play with him. Haye will be kinda stuck in no mans land with big wlad. He cant get to close as wlad will grab a hold of him and wear him down but if he stays to far outta reach then Wlad will jab the crap outta him all night. Haye I think needs to step in using angles to throw wlad off balence and then use 3-4 punch combo's to keep wlad guessing and hopefully catch him clean. How to do think Haye will go about beating Wlad?

Both of these HW's are in the new fight night, Im just wondering if you choose to play as wlad and select a vs match with haye, do you think when the games loading haye will back out and you will get a message on your computer saying he has hurt his back or thinks wlad has fought to much earlier in gaming session, thus not being rusty? And yes I am flaming david haye

I so wish setanta wouldnt have gone bust. haye wouldnt have backed out of a fight with wlad because of a fake back injury and wlad would have then assaulted him and made him retire. Haye is lucky he's still earning cash. If he would have fought wlad years ago he would be already in retirement and wlad would have cleaned the division up.
