kinda feel a little sorry for canelo but he brought it on himself. All these comments you read from him are just responses to questions being forced onto him from reporters. I don't think for a second he isn't sick to death of hearing gggs name pushed on him day after day. Canelo's good but he's not great. Lara showed his limitations and mayweather made him look a fool. Golovkin would beat him comfortably.
golovkin will not beat him comfortably you guys are crazy if you think ethier one will win easy. This fight when it happens will be hard for both fighters. No fight is easy in boxing especially at the top level.
chocolatito is hbolds newest hypejob! They turned him into p4p king just because of close fights with estrada and cuadras hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!
no its because of his skills are you blind or the hate doesnt let you see?
Dude, that's because Estrada was drained in 108 pounds but he will destroy Gonzalez in the rematch.
Estrada is very strong in a natural weight, like he showed vs Segura that was kinda Margarito in 112 pounds and Juan made look Giovani like a kid.
Estrada is stronger and taller than Gonzalez. He will kill him in a rematch and the team of Gonzalez know this.
They are ducking Estrada since 2013.
Roman is not ducking Estrada hes been making history becoming a 4 division champ and is known as the p4p best fighter. while Estrada has been out and just living off of the Roman fight that he lost. not saying hes not a good fighter but Roman is not ducking no one he knows everyone wants to see the fight and until he doesn't get paid well for it he wont do it. Estrada needs to fight the likes of cuadras or inoue.
el gallo outclasses him in rematch he made gonzalez look like a chump in the first fight that's with estrada draining himself **** let's see it now i thought estrada won the first fight also
gonzalez has never looked like a chump what are you talking about? He was backing estrada up the whole fight estrada couldnt hurt him and it looked like gonzalez punches had more of an affect on estrada then the other way around.
ward definitely was wobbled several times in that fight but dont worry he used his patented grabby hands to get through it
thats what a smart fighter does
Condolences to the family.
Boxing is a tough sport.
I personally did sparring last wednesday and i was all beat up all that weekend.
Boxing is as real as it gets its not a game you play. It can be life and death in that ring when you get caught with a solid punch it wakes you up and you realize that you can get seriously hurt. That's why I hate these internet warriors criticizing fighters when they don't know how it is. Saying things like he scared or a coward or he doesn't hit hard if they knew every punch in the face hurts.
This might have hurt boxings credibility if the sport was still relevant.
Boxing will always be relevant where do you guys get that boxing is dying boxing will always be no matter what.
Boxing is relevant like Nascar or the WNBA is relevant. I'm just saying, if something like this happened to the NFL or UFC it would be a huge scandal. There'd be congressional investigations, the morning talk shows would be running this story nonstop. But **** like this happens to boxing all the time and no one gives a ****. Not even hardcore fans really care that much.
I like how you tried to compare the ufc with the nfl like if theyre on the same level lol
It doesn't matter how many fights he has, it's not about him, it's about tank, Loma and rigo..
Lol guys that never have gotten in the ring calling professional fighters "cowards"
It really doesn't matter at this point because they crowned him the moment they brought him on the scene..They came out claiming he was already like 40-0 and handed him a belt against an old and smaller Mathew Hatton....That what i mean when i say earned it...I see him as another Chavez jr. in him being alot bigger and heavier than the weight he fights at and will be exposed when he can't out muscle you...Don't get me wrong, his fight with GGG will be big big event...It will probably be bigger than Ward Kovalev, but unlike Ward Kov, most expect GGG to stop Alvarez whereas it's 50/50 with Ward KOv making it a bigger fight, not event but fight to me...
why do you guys think Canelo only wins cause he has a size advantage? Canelo is actually an intelligent boxer and throws fast sharp counter punches with power and that makes him very dangerous. He is also very good at slipping punches makes you miss and makes you pay. Pay attention to the way he fights he doesn't just bum rush guys and trys to impose his size that is not his style of fighting. He has a very good chance against GGG.
Nope That's your opinion till Canelo fights in UK There's no proof to your theory
No need for Canelo to fight in the UK hes made it in the US that's where it matters
When was the last time Martinez did a "He's dead" cut-throat motion to an opponent?
Last time i seen him do that was at the weigh in against Kelly Pavlik.
could have fought loma if you had the guts to move up 4 pounds :pat:
Haymon would be perfect for this glass-jaw hype job..he can continue fighting the cab drivers around the world he's fighting...
wow you shouldnt even comment on boxing if you thing rigo is a hype job shows how much you know about the sport.
Are you crazy? The same Gonzalez said that was his hardest fight in his whole career. All the people want to see the rematch and the promoters too.
Cuadras won only 4 rounds? Hahaha.
Cuadras won clearly:
1, 6, 8, 10, and 12 round. Super competitive but he did better in the 9, and the round 7 and 11 were extremely competitives but Cuadras was more efficient.
Draw or Cuadras won 115-113 no way Roman won this.
Chocolatito won get over it. It was a good fight but Chocolatito was taking the fight to Cuadras for most of the fight he was chasing the champion around the ring and landing good shots. That's why the judges saw him win. If Roman would have fought the way Cuadras did you would be saying he was running but your Mexican you always go for the Mexicans and it hurts you but the Nicoya won and hes beat a lot of Mexicans along the way that's why you want him to lose so bad. Caudras is a good figher with charisma but he lost.
who is floyd gonna fight to make him $100 mil? i dont care how much he's made before. he wants to come back to fight conor to make that $100 mil. if he doest agree to a 50/50 then there's no fight.
so where else is he gonna go to get that $100 mil? conor has options. conor can go back to fighting in the ufc, there's other high profile boxers also calling conor out. bottom line, mcgregor has options, floyd doesnt.
Conor would get put to sleep by other boxers like Canelo or Pacquiao
:lol1: it will be an interesting week following the aftermath of Roman vs Viloria. I'm sure we will get threads claiming he's the number one pound for pound, top flyweight, unstoppable, etc.. Etc.. This should be fun, I suppose.
He already is the top flyweight and so far he has been unstoppable.
How can he expect a tough fight with Pascal given what we saw already?
cause the first fight was tough didn't you see how Pascal was countering him with the right hand over and over but Kovalev is tough he was able to take it but it wasn't easy.
I'm not pretending anything, it's a fact that Estrada had to drop to 108 for the first time in his career in order to get a shot at a world title. In fact, he earned that shot by KO'ing and revenging his lone loss at the time against Sanchez Jr. for the box Azteca tournament. He didn't "super saiyan" but he did return to the proper weight division and clearly beat Viloria, whom at the time was trampling through alo't of good to decent leveled fighters.
I'm just wondering why no mention of said rematch, I believe Estrada was ringside this past weekend and Roman made no mention of him on air. He may have made a little over that for his debut but at the point and time he was asking for the one million dollar purse(not too long ago), he was yet to have made a splash on HBO and was facing the likes of Leon Valentin.
Do I think they can get a hefty purse? Sure, perhaps later on down the road.. but my main question is why is Roman constantly facing sub par competition when the division is stacked with skilled fighters. It doesnt have to be Estrada himself, he can skip that fight if he pleases but to claim he's the top guy in weight when Estrada and Amnat himself are facing much more formidable opposition is questionable.
Not only that but he's considered top 5 pound for pound in the sport, all off of what win as of late? Akira? The same man who moved back down in weight and got KTFO in 7? Because no one else was worthy of mention or note since fighting the, at the time, unknown Estrada several years back.
His overall resume is quite deep, but his 112 record is leaky and that's the division where all his praise is coming from.
hes considered a top p4p boxer because of his skills if you cant see that then your blind. Why are you trying to down play Gonzalez? hes obviously a great fighter if it wasn't for him the smaller weights wouldn't be getting the attention they are starting to get. The man has a tremendous talent cant believe you guys cant see that, I bet if he was Mexican you would be his #1 fan.
Until the Top Rank/GoldenBoy **** gets cleared up he's not gonna fight Rios lol
Mattyhsse would be a great fight for Danny
Off topic, but anyone know the entrance song Garcia came out to?>
"Young and gettin it" meek mill ft kirko bangz
They have a common opponent.
Haney vs Loma drew a way bigger crowd than Teo vs Loma.
facts over opinions
Maybe because Teo vs Loma was during the pandemic and it was in "The Bubble" where no crowd was allowed. Maybe you should get your facts straight lol.
well fishnets lets not bs anyone here, it was less then 300k ppv more like 250k. And ggg did twice that with brook
you cant compare that was in the uk its different in the us think about it dont be dumb
The Kirkland canelo fought is easily as good as anyone gggs fought recently, jacobs included. Funny thing is that canelo vs kirkland was a brutal war, should've been fight of the year, was ko of the year. That fight was a la haggler hearns in the brutality for few rds it lasted. Funny those that now dont rate kirkland were saying hed ko canelo & he had 28 kos in 32 fights 1 L & was enormous too. Jacobs is now being viewed as some hw god by gggfanbois/nelo haters like roach.:baby:
Kirkland being as good as Jacobs man you are tripping the skill level is night and day. Kirkland does not have the athleticism Jacobs has or the ring smarts.
Pathetic!!! even Chocolatito a 'Midget' draws double that! how much did these guys get paid?
how is Chocolatito a midget? does saying that make you feel better about yourself? humans come in all sizes dummy
They traveled a long way to watch their hero get KTFO! This is one of those fights where you CAN bet the rent!
Haven't these people watched him box???? He leads with his chin. Floyd will probably be able to KO him whenever he wants.
he does especially when he throws the left he throws it hard but he comes forward with the punch and no one in the ufc has made him pay for it cause there isn't any good counter punchers. He wont be able to get away with that with Mayweather, counter rights all night that's how Mayweather is taking that left away which is Mcgregors best punch.
Good ratings for the little guys.
Cotto-Kamegai pulled in a peak of 805,000 viewers on the same night as the Mayweather PPV, so imagine how many viewers would have watched that fight if the Mayweather fight wasn't on that night.
I was switching between channels im sure a lot of people were doing the same so not that many more.
