Yeah Jones Calzaghe also made me feel sick of boxing.
I stopped fighting few years ago when I saw Anthony Mundine's fight and felt like "... shiiit thats something I don't want to see ever again" :D
It's not the sport itself, its just that boxing is not easy to watch these days
He is a great prospect in terms of knowledge and skills no doubt about that , butwhen I look at his size/weight I really start wondering what the hell is he going to do at super middle or light heavy where he is going to end up eventually. He is smaller than some welterweight he fought. I think the example of Matvey will remind us that good amateur background does not meant automatic success at professional sport. Yet, if he drained himself to light middle and stayed there for the rest of his career, he definately could make a lot of noise. I really hope I am wrong though.
There is a lot of hate from hardcore boxing fans, but for a regular person who doesn't watch boxing it does not matter what weight JMM comes from or who Floyd should be fighting instead. Housewifes and young ladies don't watch boxrec statistics they watch 24/7. This fight will certainly sell more PPV than Pacman-Cotto, partly because of the boring 24/7 with them and shit promotion of the old man.
I can understand him.
If he agreed to fight Mosley he'd make 400k PPV and he would lose all bargaining powers when considering the fight with Cotto/Pac winner.
Don't be mad guys if he won Shane Mosley youy would probably say that winning a steroid punk who is over the hill has nothing to do with greatness.
When you train like he does for every fight offcourse he wants to make sure that he gets best out of it. Plus, he will make a lot more money fighting Mosley after another mega fight.
Meanwhile Mosley himself is not a smart man. Instead of finally becoming a villain and doing something crazy like slapping Flloyd and thus building a frame for their fight Shane is being a great guy he allways was. Imagine that 24/7 series, Shane talks about his broken marriage, Shane is eating a turkey , shane is playing basketball...
Who will buy this fight ????
Floyd knows there isn't much left in his own persona especially now when he is trying to be a nice guy, people won't buy it. Ideally it would be Shane's turn to be a bad guy, but since he isn't, should not blame floyd.

but its 500mb
tonight and still be standing and able to throw back.
Nah. No way man.Even old Kostya Tszyu would kill Cotto. Hes defense is shit and his chin is shit.
As the matter of fact Cotto was more scared of what happened in the ring than Hatton's mama.
You are very curious now making these threads. Cotto would not get his as flush as Hatton was getting hit.
Cotton would get hit even more.
If Hatton or Oscar could not manage to put pressure on Floyd.
How da funk can Cotto do that ?
Mayweather - Cotto will be a chess match. Cotto's chances are around 20%.
Ricky is being sold for the highest price he could be.
His owners must be happy, because once he losses to Floyd everyone will consider it as a loss to the great champion and it is not a shame. As a matter of fact they wil come with the new idea after the fight. Oscar vs Ricky. They will be saying that both of them actually won Mayweather in spite of the wrong decisions.
What you on about mate?
think before you type!
Why don't you watch some of the Hatton's fights in England mate.
Hatton-Tszyu would a good one to start up with :)
"Hatton ain't boxer, he is rubbish" (c) Mayweather
I'd put it this way, he ain't rubbish he is a wrester with a lot of support in his home country:D
Oscar ran all last 5rounds because he was listening to his corner, if he would have followed his instinct, he could have knockout tito, just look at B-hops hook that caught tito to the ground...
Oscar was way too tired.
If he stoped Tito would knock him out.
There is a documentary about that fight on youtube.
