First things first, before this thread becomes inundated with comments like "africa aint a country" i know it aint but africa as a whole id say will make it more of a level playing field rather than only adding africas biggest boxing nations(countries like Ghana) there are also small countries like puerto rico and the phillipines in the mix but overall i feel the options are balanced. So with that being said what do u guys think ?? the USA has dominated boxing for decades at a time in the past so they are obvious favourites. Britains had a surge of young talent lately. Mexico will always be in with a shout , and we all kno about the puerto ricans and phillipinos it will be interesting. Can any of these countries knock The USA off their perch?? REMEMBER this is in regards to the next decade or so :la:
america wouldnt have many good sports stars if they didnt have black dudes and mexicans.i can only think of 1 white american champ boxer and thats pavlik.so i say africa and mexico
everyone from mexico , puerto rico , philippines , cuba , etc. should go rep spain then.
we'll talk about savon , trinidad , teofilo , pacquiao , chavez , sanchez , etc. and big up spain.
that'll shit on his lame ass soviet olympians and mediocre champions.
Dude, let him have it. I was in far eastern Russia in 92'...they (the Sovs) had alot to overcome. Show some magnanimity...
just import more fighters from the soviet union like kostya.
the soviet union's fighters are the future.
and darchinyans!!! i mean armenians.. from armenia? hows it spelt?
I actually like what I see with Ward, yes he's a dirty bitch, but man can he box... And I actually think he has the size to go down to MW and fight also, so look out for him.
I wish Canada had more boxers. I can understand why we don't have very many professional boxers. We defiantly have a lack of boxing gyms where I live. (I live near Niagara Falls). Yet these gay ass mma gyms are popping up ****ing everywhere. It actually disgust me. I know this has nothing to do with it, but the last two times I got into street fights, the person speared me when I put up my fist. I wish men would fight like men. Not pussies. Funny thing is, I have two close friends who fight mma. We get into such bad arguments about boxing and mma.
On another note, Canada dominates Hockey and Curling. Hell Yeah. Oh yeah, and we have the CFL. 3 downs baby. None of that 4 downs bs. lol
Russia dominates hockey. (I'm Canadian myself, but living in Denmark - my parents moved here). But Russia has won the world cup, 1 more time then Canada now.

I can understand some words in Portuguese... I remember I could understand some of Acelino Freitas post fights interviews... is similar to Spanish...
I want to learn another language too...
Yeah, you see parallels in the languages. Even in nouns, all three will have pretty much the same roots, but the endings will be different. It's not that hard. If you know Spanish, another romance language will be easy.
My grandparent's Italian dialect actually contains a lot of Spanish verbs, so growing up around them has helped.
The funny thing is, I can't speak Spanish, but having studied Italian and Portuguese, I can read some Spanish, understand it if the person is talking slowly and not in a complex manner and write some basic things.
I probably should learn it though.

But, you can write better than I can, seriously I probably would of misspelled a one of those words...

Yea I can, and I can read it too... but, not write it... if I write a letter you would understand what I am trying to say but a lot of words would be misspelled...
No puedo hablar Espanol. :(
I was reading it was a very poor country.
I did a quick google search, and most results seemed to say Nicaragua and Bolivia were really bad. Can't say for sure though.
Yea I don't know, I just know when the show survivor was there my Grandma was so happy and proud...
