Good article but I feel he should not get his license back he cheated and he is a disgrace to all his fans. I'm from P.R. and have no respect for Luis Resto for cheating and winning the title at that time.
Cotto should not fight Margarcheato
Margarito should not be allowed to box in the US - Period! My husband let me use his blog to express my thoughts on this... Boxing is a brutal sport, yes but when you have to cheat in order to win then you aren't a boxer... let Margarito stay in Mexico. Cotto should not let him make a dime off of him again. He shouldn't be allowed back into the US either. Thats it..

After watching Yorgey fight this weekend and seeing what a horrible job the ref did in that fight brought back sad memories on how my brother Willie Macho Classen lost his life in the ring because the ref and the ring doctor allowed him to go out in the tenth round when he basically was knocked out but standing on his feet. The good news about my brother death is that now it is NY state law that there must be an ambulance and crew in every boxing match and in New York after a boxer is knock down he must walk to the center of the ring (which the ref usually will wipe his gloves to determine if he can continue ) to begin fighting in the following round called the "Classen rule" and that was not done in the Yorgey fight. Boxing is a dangerous sport lets just make it safer.....LOVE BOXING

It is sad to see him this way. I have good memories of him running in the the beach in Pineones, P.R. when I was a kid along with my cousins. Whenever he trained for a fight in Carolina P.R., we would follow him around when we were kids. He will always be one of my favorite boxers.

Thats the reason why i feel the ref did not do his job, angulo hit while Yorgey was on the floor to the back of the head also when yorgey went to protect him self by holding across the ring on his knees the ref should of taking more time to separate them or a standing eight. one more note the ref was to slow to jump in and stop the fight he should of been closer in the last round to stop the fight...

as for margarito its ashame that there are still people who still stand by him he was caught he should never fight again . He put awhole country of great fighters in shame .
