Lol. You realise they have already fought? He looked really scared after actually getting dropped in the fight didn't he? Especially in the 12th...
Do you actually like boxing or just Wilder?
I'm hardly a Fury fan but you guys are ****ing weird.
It's £20. It's so cheap. However what annoys me is Sky Sports is £50 a month. So essentially your paying a extra £120 a month for six PPV's to watch Boxing in this country. British Fans get mugged off more than Americans. I hope Sky's Executives and Eddie Hearn burn in hell fire
Sky sports is not £50 a month. I have Sky, if you are paying 50 quid for the sports you need to call them asap. Moreover, you do not even have to have Sky TV to buy their PPV.
Not really getting the hate. I initially didn't want to buy this but as usual eventually stumped up the cash as I also had mates heading over - none of us regret watching it.
I think the American critics here are failing to understand that it's not just the headline fight - the actual card was good and it's not the first time. Compare this to your standard 3 fight Showtime/HBO card, where the majority of the time absolute nobodies fighting in front of no one, no atmosphere until the main fighters are about to ring walk. It's night and day.
Even if you hate/don't rate Whyte, Chisora, Parker etc there is no genuine boxing who would have been bored or disappointed watching those fights live.
But as this is a Hearn card and features no Americans it must be terrible zzzzzzzz.
Playing devils advocate here, it would make sense to announce a "steady" stable now when you factor in the first month of content is "free" and already includes AJ (a fighter he already has) - announce a few bigger names in September/October and give people a reason to keep re-upping...
People are looking at this like NBA free agency in 2016 and he's spunked all of his cap space on Bizmack Biyombo with no room to make any more moves.
In no universe other than an egotist's does demanding the lion's share and the other guy not caving in does that equate to the other guy ducking the fight.
I've seen so many Anthony Joshuas come and go and they never see the end coming because they bought in their own hype. Their fans won't see it either like Ricky Hatton's interrupted mid-soccer chant.
I love how you've edited this and it still makes no sense.
And to be clear, I would say the same if he had left Hearn to go to Golden Boy or whoever, there is no reason to be loyal in this game when it comes to money and your ambitions.
It's not like he's left his lifelong trainer penny less after making it big - he's left a TV network which is based in a continent in which he's never fought.
Guess nobody actually read the quotes...
"Motivated to make 147"
The guy just fought Golovkin but he's scared to fight a welter now? Right.
He's been banging on about fighting a Thurman, Garcia etc at 147 as these guys are actual name fighters, Garcia particularly in the UK for obvious reasons.
It's really not that hard to understand.
he accepted $15mil, but Hearn and Joshua shat the bed
he obviously wants a better deal in order to come to the table..... because Team Bullshht were not even willing to fight him for the last shlt deal they offered
Must be pretty frustrating to be so slow. Do you actually believe all of things you write? I get that people take sides but mate, get a ****ing grip on reality.
Could respect this but at the end of the day, he fought him and took the money. If he really wanted to punish him, hurt his pocket and keep saying this stuff.
If anyone thought there would be any other outcome clearly don't know boxing, the rematch goes the same way. Both these guys are conning the public for money and neither of them will win a world title
Conning the public? Who cares if either win a world title if they fight like that? Some rando who likely streams every fight anyway.
Have rarely enjoyed a Eubank fight but you may as well watch another sport if you think you've been conned.
So many idiotic comments in here. Literally couldn't care less where his fights are shown in the US or UK but why should he be "loyal" to Showtime? They did the majority of the broadcasts from a studio in the US ffs.
And for everyone crying about him being loyal, shouldn't that loyalty first apply to the guy that has promoted him since he turned pro and you know, has got him to the point where he fights in front of 90k people every fight? I even heard Espinoza on a podcast admitting Showtime haven't backed Joshua the same way as they have Wilder - and why would they? He's not American ffs.
Again, I couldn't care less who shows his fights but some of you guys have a total inability to be rational about anything.
Some clown above wrote about showing loyalty to "your corporation", like, you've never changed jobs in your life? Christ. I'm guessing no one on this forum has changed partners due to to loyalty right?
That's these Hearn fanboys don't get. It's not about the price. $10 is nothing, but I'm not gonna spend $10 on an app that I will only use for a few hours on a Saturday. I could careless about Bellator. DAZN just won't have any other content that will interest me. ESPN+ has a lot of content but even at that, I never really used it other for one fight.
Would you pay $10 if it had been marketed as a sport TV channel?
I dont really understand the trend of looking down on DAZN because its an "app". I would be amazed if they won't be streaming in UHD/HDR soon enough on you know, big screen TVs.
