Spence’s chin was just fine. His boxing was what was lacking. He didn’t even make a feint. He walked straight into the machine with no ability to vary his approach. He was floored 3 times, in Bamby legs like 9 times, K.Od. but yeah his defense is ordinary

If you watch that first knock down, Spence got caught squared up with no profile, because of where Crawford angled off to... The effect of this is to push on a person's balance where they have no third leg to brace, in martial arts we call it triangulation. Spence also did look drained and I do think the power was more than he was used to. A very confident man can use his offense as his defense until he comes a cropper against someone who knows how to exploit that and punch with him, in the spaces where he is not protected. Ill give Spence credit for trying... but it was a pathetic attempt because he just left himself more exposed (the last few knock downs). He has a bad defense, too, was drained, and overrated. Spence meet the ring FOR FIRST TIME against a great hitter , with amazing power and look what happened. Think this, Ugas rocked him and the referee helped him, but if Crawford was Ugas, thats over. This happens with a fighter has a career without any Big puncher. Spence was confident but after he felt the Big Big power of Crawford he was totally out of the fight. Spence has a Bad defense too. That jab was more the bodyweight and where spences balance was it was a push and a punch at the same time, a shotgun jab with crawfords whole bodywieght behind it I noticed in this fight the way crawford throws punches he puts his whole body behind it but more so in weight ,gets them off balance then throws the damaging punches when they're off balance its really impressive stuff Yeah that is what it looked like. His defence is normally quite good but when you're fighting someone as effective as crawford in punch selection,timing and speed it would be quite difficult not to be caught the way he was Crawford amazing ability to not only time the counters but to choose the perfect kind of punch to the punch thrown at him is second to none He never do this against other guy Spence has Bad defense man

For a supposed p4p fighter, Spence had one of the worst defenses ive ever seen. His defence is normally quite good but when you're fighting someone as effective as crawford in punch selection,timing and speed it would be quite difficult not to be caught the way he was Crawford amazing ability to not only time the counters but to choose the perfect kind of punch to the punch thrown at him is second to none

I agree with you about the jab but I think spence has good balance normally I think crawford is exceptional at putting fighters off balance with the starting push punches then he delivers the snappy hurtful shots whilst they're off balance its quite remarkable to watch and I can't think of any other fighter who did it as effectively as crawford did last night
