He knew he wasn't his best and still needed time but i think he was willing to cash out win or lose. The ESPN deal changed his mind, he now can work on become the best he can. Never seen a heavyweight who needed 3 tune ups lol he had two tuneups before he fought Wilder.

Fury at 60% just got robbed of a legit decision against Wilder. I'm not even really a Fury fan anymore as most of his fanbase annoy the hell out of me but I have no issue with the decision he's made. He's clearly a smart man and doesn't want to be the next golovkin or Kovalev (where the north American fighters just gets the deck staked even more in their favour in the rematch) So he's now got the bargaining power and can have potentially a fun interim fight if Wilder refuses to fight unless everything is stacked in his favour All true and I agree. If you're being honest you know Fury wasn't 100% in the first fight. He still had fat to lose. When you lose fat you lose muscle along with it. He was fat and weak in the first fight.
