Easy work for Canelo. I get his point on trying to sell the fight and making him seem like a threat. Fielding's lone loss he was KO'd in 1. 2 fights ago he won an 8 round decision over an 11-7 fighter.
Great showing by Wilder. His first true test and he passed and also showed his determination to come back from adversity. Ortiz is a top heavyweight and still has what it takes to become champ.
Resurrected boxing career? hahahah!!! how? fighting in a cheesy tournament against a bunch old local "never-was" fighters? Besides England no one cares about his fight with Haye.
How doe Britain run the show? Forch lost to Kessler who was schooled by Ward. Andre runs the show at 168. Just like the Klitchko's run the show at Heavy (Haye is #3). I also rank Froch higher than Haye out of British fighters because he's fought and beaten better competition.
Chin or no chin. Out of the european fighter I at least give Khan credit for crossing over unlike the other europeans where they're scared to fight away from their back yard.
I thought Wilder and Fury had agreed to a trilogy fight after their February fight. Regardless, Joshua vs the winner with a 50/50 split (on everything) I think is a fair deal for both sides.
Wow, how sad. Broner vs Molina who got destroyed by Antonio Demarco in 1 round whom Broner battered in 8 rounds. This is the year of top notch fighters ducking opponents. Canelo ducks Lara to fight Lara's TKO victim Angulo. Marquez avoids Prov' to fight his TKO victim in Alvarado, and now this (if true).
Excuses! regardless where the fight was held Kessler got beaten handily. He can complain about headbutts/holding but Kessler was the veteran of the 2 with 43 fights to Wards 20. You would expect the Kessler to know better and study Wards style.
WBA is so confusing. So Luis Ortiz is the interim champ and he's supposedly fighting for the vacant "regular" belt. How can he fight for the vacant title that he's the interim champ of? Also since Brown is stripped and Ruslan is indeed retired that should make interim champ Ortiz the full champ and not have to fight for a vacant title.
Interested to see how smooth his transition to the pros is. Especially considering he already in his mid 20's.
Antonio Tarver did fairly well and he started his career in his late 20's. As well as Ivan Calderon. Hopkins, a future HOF'er started in his mid 20's (though he wasn't an olympian).
