FANS deserve a brilliant undercard to go with a top-class main event and that is what we are delivering on December 22. It will be a Christmas cracker just three days before the big festive day that is for sure. Josh Warrington's IBF featherweight title defence against Carl Frampton is top of the tree that night. Warren's card is superior, but there's something about 2 heavyweights at war that makes compelling viewing. Whyte/Chisora 1 was an all-time classic heavyweight fight. Can't blame people for wanting to watch part 2.
I would pay a PPV fee to watch midget Carl Fraudton get squashed like a bug by Josh Warrington! I hate him!
Bro we disagree on so many things lol.
Carl is great and has had a great career so far. Don't know how anybody can call him a fraud seeing as though he was universally regarded as Fighter of the Year 2016.
Can we please get rid of these greedy PPV events, that the average British consumer or publican can hardly be in a position to afford? & bring back good old terrestrial TV! "Reg Gutteridge, Harry Carpenter & our Enery must be turning in there graves right now"!!..
I feel a bit sorry for Frank because his fight is borderline ppv worthy but more people will watch the less worthy card because the first fight was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen.
I think Whyte will win a decision but Dereck might find that miracle punch and Whyte showed a little stamina issue against Parker....
I like watching boxing and Chisora/Whyte should be very entertaining. That is the point
Ortiz vs the winner would be entertaining and also meaningful so far as a title shot is concerned. I'm sure Hearn would like to skip that step and go directly to giving one of his B level fighters a title shot. The meaning of that is obvious and has to do with putting money in Hearn's pocket.
I'll be watching the BT card this night.
I have a feeling Chisora will get banged out early by a much improved Whyte. I've seen Chisora beaten too many times to give a damn about any of his fights, and Whyte is just a tough slugger.
I'll be watching the higher level fight as a boxing fan.... and the BT undercard ****s all over Whyte/Chisora.
He's right. Frampton vs Warrington is higher level and more meaningful than Whyte vs Chisora, and then Heffron vs Williams could be a banger and Murray vs N'Dam is relatively interesting. On the Sky undercard, Edwards doesn't deserve another title shot and will probably get beaten up again and Bellotti already fell short against an inferior opponent to Walsh. If the Whyte vs Chisora rematch happens to be less entertaining than the first fight then that PPV will turn out to be a total waste of £20
I'll be watching Whyte Vs Chisora, only coz the boys I'm drinking with that day, don't care about Frampton Vs Warrington.
But Frampton Vs Warrington is by far the superior card, no question
This is what Frank just doesn't understand. Hearn has worked out how to appeal to the casuals and, like Dana White, understands what today's casual fight fan craves... Frampton vs Warrington is a great fight, but like most in the UK I'll also be watching Whyte vs Chisora 2 live though.
