Yes Lara fought Angulo for the WBA World Interim Title he did not fight Trout for the real title. Lara was just defending the interim title but the commentators and ring announcer fail to acknowledge that just saying its for the "WBA World Title" when really its not I saw the same case with Byran Vazquez's recent fight hes not the WBA champ Uchiyama is. The real WBA title holder is Floyd Mayweather who he picked off the real title from Miguel Cotto in 2012 . Look on boxrec or hell rewatch the prefight pageantry to the Canelo Floyd fight it was for The real WBC title that canelo had and the real WBA (Super) World light middleweight title (not World) title that Mayweather had so technically you can say Lara has a paper of a paper title. Because if you really break it down the Title for this fight matches it perfectly (Honor+Glory) because there is no real title at stake if it is its not a real title.
