Who does this guy think he is, he just skips the whole competition so he can fight bums in his hometown, then thinks he deserves a shot? He should fight Kessler, and if he wins, fight Froch first. He is proves himself worthy then he should fight Ward. And at a neutral venue, so when he gets Andrade'd he won't be able to have someone break the rules for him.

The guy is my favorite boxing writer and I love his feature length articles, but his last one was in January about the Pac/HBO/Showtime thing? Anyone got an idea if he's written anything new since then?

Remember him? i was shocked to find he ended up blind in one eye after a retina surgery after his fight with Chambers. In November he was edged out by Eddie Chambers in an IBF semifinal. During this bout, Brock suffered a retinal damage in one of his eyes. As a result of a botched surgery to repair this damage, Brock has been blinded in that eye, and forced to retire from the sport of boxing. Any have updates or such? Great guy of course, too bad it had to end like that.

Unless some people in Australia stream it, and fights there are almost never streamed. Just wanna know if anyone has heard anything, I'm not keen on getting up very early only to find out there are no streams around. Any news? The card starts at 3AM EST I think, with the main event possibly being at 5/6AM.

Christ, boxing message boards are almost unbearable these days. You've got the same topics. 1. Cotto bashing. 2. Mayweather bashing. 3. Pacquiao admiration. 4. UFC/MMA trash talk. Is this seriously all the Filipino contingent has to offer? At least when the Puerto Ricans and Mexicans are at each others throats they don't flood the forums amd use their culture's boxing history to attack others. What do these guys have - one fighter to worship? This is almost to the point that I hope Pacquiao loses to Cotto just to see everyone shut up, even though I think the Pacman is a fine fighter. The forum is stuck with TWO fights - Mayweather/Marquez, Cotto/Pacquiao and ONE topic - UFC vs Boxing PPV rates, and I'm almost 100% sure no one here is getting any profit from many of that stuff.

Seeing Salita fight live I think Khan wins easily of course, but I'm very interested if certain parties are willing to exploit the fighter's backgrounds for some hype :D Why is the word p a k i banned, is it really that offensive? Didn't know, oh well.

Don't really hold it against him that he wanted to move up, I don't think this loss hurts his career, and if anything it got King Kong some exposure

Mike Alvarado vs Juaquin Gallardo (18-7-1, 5 KOs) <- pathetic James Kirkland vs Michael Walker (19-1, 12 KOs) <- good looking record but he lost to 34-12 David Lopez and drew/barely beat Antwun Echols in 2008 It looks like another horrible DLH vs Pacquiao undercard, funny thing about that card is that the horrible undercard was actually being talked about in boxing circles as much as the fight itself!

Bute can't even speak English or French, guy only speaks Romanian.. what kind of Canadian fighter is that? :lol1:

Got this idea after reading the "Billy Dib in Fight Night" Thread :D Here's a typical hilarious suggestion: They should put Khan in the game, anytime anyone lands a clean punch on him.......it's over. Maybe Audley Harrison too, you'll push the buttons but he just won't throw any punches. And some of mine.. Pressing the "straight right hand" button playing with Malignaggi and it working only twice before it breaks. Hearing the crowd chant "THERE'S ONLY ONE RICKY HATTON" over and over at MEN arena against bums when you pick the special "Hatton WBU" mode. The "aim for a low blow" Andrew Golota mini-game. You only see the opponents lower half moving around on screen and you have to time a perfect low blow, going from heavyweights to strawweight making it harder difficulty. The "can the Peterson Brothers out-shout Maria Sharapova" mini-game.

It was off-camera but Vic said "You have to go through him (Arce) first to get to me, and he'll destroy you" - WHO WAS IT??
