jakes a smart guy with a world class team around him, theyve analysed the tapes of joshua and theyve seen something.... they are 100 percent heading into this fight with the belief that they can pull this off
ffs …
Exactly! Paul will wait for Joshua to commit or for him to loose focus and play to the crowd to throw one punch. All he needs is to clip Joshua once and it'll be like the Dubois fight.
Has been and never was looking for legitimacy.
Are you saying Paul has a chance to ko AJ like Dubois did?
There is almost 0% chance of this being a real fight but if it is JP is going to intensive care at best.
AJ might be past his best but he still did 24 rounds with the best heavyweight of this era only 4 years ago. And people make him out to be some sort of fraud just because he lost.
The quicker khan't gets ktfo again the better. Hope Mayweather chooses Brook.
Off to the library to selotape Khan't picture next the 'delusional' in all of the dictionaries.
I've been a big Froch fan for a while but hes become a real dick since he KTFO Bute. Hes was fighting an undefeated boxer but he expected him to come in all full of admiration and ****-sucking??? Frochs actually been the disrespectful one.
Lets look at it objectively:
Groves didn't insult anyone, he just gave his opinion and his opinion proved correct. But, Froch got a gift stoppage. He might have won, but it was a gift at that point.
If Froch's fans can't make it from Nottingham to London then they're clearly not very big fans. If he complains because the crowd are against him its because he's a dick, not because he's in London fighting a guy from Hammersmith. I'm from London and Londoners would not necessarily support a local over a Nottingham fighter. London is huge and there is not the same local support you get in smaller towns, like Nottingham.
Groves for the win. Willing to bet what little points I have.
Khan't is a 5-star imbecile.
Even Froch took the Groves fight and he's got a head the size of Naseem Hamed's belly.
Khan't scared of getting Groves'd by Brook, difference is he wouldn't get up after the 1st-round knockdown.
ggg just does not have what it takes to beat canelo. Walking down canelo didn't work, and boxing him didn't work. If the 3rd fight happens, canelo will ko him and send him into retirement.
Both worked. What he didn't have is judges in his pocket and PEDs in his blood. He didn't need the latter, but you do need the former to beat Canelo on points.
It remains to be seen what will happen now that hes 40.
Stevensons just another big-mouthed idiot duck, spawned by the joke people who run this sport.
Kovalev is a real fighter, I can't see him changing managers to avoid a fighter if the situation was reversed.
I know who i'd rather watch.
The only person who i can see giving Klitschko any problem at all in the next 5 years are potentially Wilder and, in a few years, Anthony Joshua.
Stiverne / Arreloa / Fury have 0% chance of beating him. In fact Fury has less than 0% chance, he'd probably ko himself singing on the way to the ring.
So Maidana beats a super featherweight and deserves it? Wasn't even surprised with the Broner result.
Not that Kahn deserves it, but he did beat Maidana...
Some Kazakh billionaire should just put up $100m for him to fight Triple G
I mean, what goes on in these guys heads? Bellew is a footnote at best. Somehow he thinks hes thinks moving to cruiserweight makes him the new Mike Tyson? Get a fkin grip son.
At least when ppl like Froch say stuff like this they have actually done something in their career.
Bellew should fight ismael silakh for a fiver
Sanctions against Russian businesses make sense because they affect Putin or at least the Russian economy. But Bivol doesn't work for his country. Is every Russian fighter supposed to be stopped from fighting in a Western country or we're just stopping the big fights?
Bivol was born in Kyrgyzstan, can he not fight under that flag?
If he was born there, he should renounce Putin and fight under the Kyrgyzstan flag. That would give the fighters and fans what they want, and send an even stronger message to Russia than him choosing to not fight / being barred from fighting. It would probably be quite dangerous for him though given Putin's aversion to dissent, so doubt it will happen.
I can understand that he can't really give up the fight seeing as its his big life-changing opportunity. It says a lot about Clenelo though that he chose to fight Bivol 2 days after Russia invaded, at a time when everyone else in world sports is calling for bans in the name of stopping the war. Especially when he could literally fight anyone, anywhere.
Why are there so many Jake Paul articles on this site? I havent read any of them but its annoying to see this guy headlining the website whilst other fights are reduced to side notes. Chisora-Parker, Ramirez-Gonzalez and Beterbiev-Browne should have been the headlining articles this weekend, but instead we have a bunch of nonsense about some marketer. I have been a daily reader of this site for almost a decade and this is really undermining its reputation in my eyes.
The most important result we've seen is Parker walking over Wilder as that has really damaged the credit that can be drawn from Fury's trilogy.
Thats what makes this fight so good for AJ - he should be able to win pretty easily, anything other than defeat makes him look better than Fury.
