So far, no one is paying for this fight.. Is there anyone willing to pay for this fight at all?
Somone will but they are not on boxingscene as they will be mostly Logan Paul fans who never heard of Boxingscene or Possibly even Mayweather for that matter.
Did you see me defending rape of men?
I am better than Adonis Stevenson and so is almost everyone else on the planet.
How about I rape and beat your mother. Would you give me a second chance? LOL
Nope I would not give you a 2nd chance, I would give you brain damage.
So Spence has enough power to put the iron chinned Porter on his azz but not enough to hurt PAC? GTFOH
The Same Iron Chinned Porter who was dropped by Adrien Broner. Whom Manny pretty much dominated.
i like the one champ thing in the ufc, no ducking and diving and waiting for people to get old and padded records with all the politics
UFC is a governing body within MMA the same as the WBC or WBA in boxing. You have other MMA organisations such as Bellator etc that may not be more popular but are still the same sport.
The correct question should be is MMA more Popular than Boxing in America ! UFC is not a sport it is an organisation MMA is the sport.
Eric Moon at least on paper appears to be Berlanga's stiffest test to date. His only losses to Nursultanov a good Kazakh fighter by stoppage in 2 and Mike Guy on pts. he has a few useful wins over Simeon Hardy, Justin Thomas & Christopher Brooker and has been 12rds once and 10rds twice. He has a decent jab and good movement so may give Berlanga some issues there, but I expect Berlanga track him down and win in 2 or 3rds, if he does Moon in one round i'll be impressed, but not surprised.
People shouldnt confuse Floyd losing money with Tank losing this fight.
Floyd's financial stake in this will be determined by what the show makes in terms of PPV (same night as a Khabib UFC fight) minus Tank's guarantee and cost of throwing the event etc. Not whether or not Tank wins this cherry picked fight. In business sometimes you have to lose money in order to make money down the line or maybe end up losing more. Floyd don't care about losing money, he probably loses money all the time gambling and other stuff so taking a gamble on Tank Davis PPV potential is nothing to him anyway.
Tank Davis is the next James Kirkland. Another undermatched overconfident fighter who looks good beating up dishwashers but actually loses ground every fight.
Every soft touch he faces is less preparation for the big guns. I watched him throw 50+ punches into the heavy bag yesterday without ever once covering his chin or moving his head. I'm not talking about the pitty pat Mayweather routine, Im talking about throwing real shots. These habits and muscle memories stick with you and will come out in the fights as soon as he gets hurt or frustrated.
Sooner or later he's going to get clipped and knocked cold. Once that happens, he's finished. His confidence will be gone forever and he wont have the physical skills to overcome it the way Kahn seems to do. Will that be Santa Cruz? Possibly, but it could literally be anyone he faces from here on out.
He will get stretched in one his next 5 fights. This is a Lou Cipher guarantee. This will show you all how much of a Boxing genius Lou Cipher is. Lou Cipher bases his entire Boxing legacy on this happening. Santa Cruz has a 48% Ko Percentage in his last 10 fights the only guys he stopped were Chris Avalos, Jesus Ruiz & Kiko Martinez who collectively have 28 losses between them.
He lost quit a bit of weight...something like 30 lbs.

Yeah but for Joshua v Ruiz II he lost some weight and then piled it all on and more in the month or so prior to the fight. Someone needs to keep him away from Taco Bell, he needs to be on lockdown or quarantined till fight time.
100-90 X2, 99-91; UD for Anderson. **** Merhy. I still think TR really needs to put Anderson in with Jermaine Franklin, think that is the perfect fight for him. Franklin will be tricky and make him work, while actually coming to win but not be a dangerous puncher. Or I guess they can keep wasting his time with no hopers like Merhy and the corpse of Rudenko I like the Franklin fight for Anderson too.
I guess they picked Ryad Merhy based off the Tony Yoka win but Yoka was coming into that fight off the back of two straight losses. They would have done better to bring in Kevin Lerena he's already beat Ryad Merhy and has been in there with Daniel Dubois and Justis Huni and had his moments in both of those fights.
Now is Barroso finally going to get his shot?
He's fighting 23-0 (18 KO's) Andy Hiraoka on 3rd September. Hiraoka has fought exclusively in Japan against alot of guys i'm unfamiliar with, but I guess if he comes through he will get his shot, if not then I guess Hiraoka might get it instead.
Is this a joke, Loma v Inoue is ridiculous, if Inoue wants it fair play. I would rather see Loma v Pacquaio at 135.
The argument that he is 41 and old don't wash as he just beat Thurman. If Pac is willing to go down to Lightweight I see no reason for Loma to refuse. It's a massive payday and if he thinks Pac is too old then why not get the money and that name on his resume.
While some of them are still good wins his fans want to pretend like he beat all of these guys at their apex and took on these fights when they were HOT.
But that's nothing but the furthest thing from the truth.
Worst part is hearing grown ass men cry over that issue. Like ****, take offense with Canelos choices not us who are merely observing.
If Canelo KTFO Smith later tonight its a good win, but had he done it sooner it would have been a BETTER win. Worst thing is hearing the annoying phrase "grown as men" again.
But it's true though these fans of Canelo think he is pound 4 pound no.1 but how can that be the case when you are getting help from questionable judges cards, sanctioning bodies & promoters. Just because you are a box office draw.
So please tell us how you clowns feels about
Furys opposition
Crawford
Spence
Loma
Ggg
All who faces pure bums and or guys that’s have been Looking like ****tt or past it.
See we can all do that. True but I guess as you can point out so many and there are many more too, it shows this is sadly how boxing rolls these days.
Do you say that Bill Gates has an endless greed for dollars because he keeps making computers? Microsoft makes software and computer chips I thought. If someone is making something that is useful and improves peoples life somehow then I would not say that. But Floyd v Logan Paul is rubbish and only an exhibition to boot, so has no real meaning other than to line the pockets of Floyd and to a lesser extent Logan Paul.
I understand that "who" matters, but not everyone has the capability of getting KOs, i.e. Devin Haney. Others, like Jaron "Boots" Ennis, Edgar Berlanga, Subriel Matias, and Vergil Ortiz Jr., you just know they "hit different!" There's always a cause for concern when the favorite is facing a man like that, especially when the favorite is looking beyond that type of man! We will see what this man is tomorrow night!
I have no doubt Nakathila believes in himself, and does seem to have improved from the Chuprakov fight. But still I would have seen Stevenson Stopping Chuprakov or winning all 10 or 12rds easily. Nakathila will not be a pushover as the odds suggest and he could win some rds through activity, or forward motion, his jab looks good and he likes to whip in hooks to the body which he will likely do to Shakur. He does have a tendancy to throw wild swinging shots at times though, this is not good againt a guy with the speed of Stevenson, who may have the speed and timing to take advantage of such things. Also when he hooks to the body he leaves himself open to be countered to the head.
Nope. Fighting in America got wilder the draw. When you score a knockdown is automatically a 10-8 round. Not to mention Fury dominated the majority even of those rounds, so it was technically 10-9 for Wilder. And then he got whooped for the other 10 rounds lmao that wasn’t no draw
I know it was no draw and Fury won, i;m speaking on the official result.
"The sentence is suspended for a period of two years." What does this mean? They're going to revisit it in two years? Or do they figure two years is long enough for people to forget about it?
As far as I know It means that if he does anything illegal in the UK during the next 2 years, then this suspended sentence will be taken into consideration when standing trial for the new offence, and he could be punished for both crimes.
Some fighters continue to fight like Lucas vs Danny... Algerie vs Ruslan..... Depends on the type of injury and the fighters or their corners own assessments of the situation. Tyson Fury went on with an eye injury against Otto Wallin but it did affect his performance but was not a fracture just a bad cut.
Interviewer handing Berlanga some excuses on a plate. Fighters do box and move and this should be prepared for anyway. You can't base your gameplan on a boxers performance in one fight. Rolls stood and fought with triple G and got KO'd for the first time, do you really think he's gonna do that again against another big puncher at a higher weight.
Hearn actually making more sense than anyone else at the moment. The undisputed angle is obviously a big part of selling this fight to as wide an audience as possible. If you push it back to November, December suddenly Usyk and the WBO belt becomes a problem again and then you have a harder case making this a must-see to a general sports audience.
I don't see how the WBO becomes a problem, as soon as this fight is officially announced Usyk will likely go ahead with the interim WBO fight with Joyce in the summer, then the winner will likely wait to see what happens in the rematch before enforcing their mandatory position and working on a deal to fight the winner. it makes no sense for Usyk to fight Joyce then try to get elevated to full champion before the rematch or just after, when they will likely be next. Unless it means more money if the winner is full WBO champ in an undisputed fight with the rematch winner.
I wonder what the undercard will look like if this is the main event. I hope I can at least look forward to seeing Amanda Serrano again on the undercard as she is managed by Jake Paul.
Anytime the favorite is fighting someone that has 17 KOs in 21 fights, including 10 KOs in his last 10 fights, your concerns are justified! Shakur already envisions himself calling out Oscar Valdez after his victory! His opponent is dreaming of breaking Stevenson's jawbone!
I am not always so concerned with how many KO's have they got but who did they KO. I have to say I don't know any of the fighters that Nakathila beat. The only guy he fought that I had heard of was the one he lost, and I had only barely heard or seen the name of Evgeny Chuprakov somewhere. Turns out Chuprakov lost 4 fights later and three more times since then.
Bentley just following Heaney round the ring and not cutting it off properly. Heaney seems to be seeing alot of the punches coming at least for now and ducking at just the right time and countering in the right spots too. Bentley nowhere near active enough at the moment.
Arias is winning but looks really tired.
Arias has looked tired for a few rounds now, but seems to find bursts of energy from somewhere to keep tagging the seemingly much bigger Hurd
Really wish I could watch this in the UK, much respect to both these ladies, they are legends of female boxing and this fight should be on an internationally televised card.
