Guys that were never elite, not even world class, , but gave you some good action and so you liked watching them.
I go with: Curtis Stevens, Jesus Soto Karass, Yushihiro Kamegai, Gabriel Rosado.
I have always liked watching those guys, they gave me some really good fights.
Sam Eggington or Anthony Joshua, Well the latter has journeyman level IQ but has done well.
All jokes aside, I like Egginton because he went into boxing literally just to be a journeyman and make some money, and has done alright considering that.
Does David Price count? -
Obviously he had a decent amateur career and had expectations as a pro, but has really only been journeyman level. everyone loves Price.
I have a lot of respect for these guys because they show up to take asswhoopings like a man. Likewise, many of them are very durable as well. They have good chins and can take a punch.
Wilder. Journeyman quality but correctly matched against mediocre opponents he was good to watch. Obviously not at the top level but he was interesting for a while.
Yeah guess I did! There are plenty of fights one week later he's boxing again???
11-11-05 Chris Archer 6 rounds
11-17-05 Andre WARD!
Fights McEwin 8 rounds
2 weeks later Lara.
Just crazy. More like criminal
Coupla great interviews with Deezol here:

Some great stories in there, like literally training himself with his friends picking his fights... waiting on the phone then getting the call one, two weeks away from the fight.
Yup! I like watching fighters no one knows about and you know right off the bat they are special. Then years later people in bars bring him up once he makes a name. Ive seen a few diamonds I just right time right place.
One guy I knew could box with the best of them! Pure talent and was a thing of beauty to see fight....
Drugs and alcohol did him in. Got busted for robbing pizza joints and shtGotta wonder haven't you? Probably 90% of talent never makes it close to our screens... dudes girl gets pregnant and he gotta get an extra job, or he's sick on the day the scout comes to the gym, or that one in a thousand punch lands on him in his breakout fight and he's forever relegated to gatekeeping or drugs or prison or anything...
Does Collazo count? Maybe it'd be a bit harsh to call him a journeyman per se but he was (is?) a great gatekeeper, will forever laugh at him smashing up Victor Ortiz. Second whoever suggested Khomistsky as well, always found out the overrated young Brit upstarts they put him up against. Demarcus Corley too, last time I checked he was still fighting and still managing to score a good few upsets.
Collazo is not a journeyman. Dude was world titlist at 147. And fought title fights against good opposition many times.
Journeyman is a fighter who was never on world level and doesn`t even fight for major world titles or maybe fights once.
Yeah the bar's been set waaay too high honestly. Journeymen are really your dudes like Kristian Laight who fight week in week out but are in effect paid to come along and lose obviously without taking enough damge to stop 'em fighting next week, and without embarrassing the dude they're in with.
I'm thinking of William Warburton... The guy even caused some mild upset here and there!
Anyhow we have strayed off the subject.
Many names quoted in the thread can't possibly labeled as "journeymen".

I know common usage on here doesn't mean those kinda dudes, but honestly anyone who's ever been a champion has to be ruled out in my book, even most contenders unless they've fallen a long way.
