I don't like any fighter who tries to get a guy outta there in the first round. It proves nothing but you are afraid to let the man continue and see the contest through. Most of the best men can get their man out in the first, but elect to go the distance for experience.
Crawford gets a TKO win over a shot Khan, who basically quit after a low blow. Bud was clearly on his way to a stoppage win at some point, but that was to be expected. What’s next for Bud? Maybe a career high payday across the pond to fight Brook, providing Brook doesn’t mind getting his eye socket broken again. Without a PBC opponent who is next?
Garcia did what he was supposed to do in this “tune up” fight. Stopped an out-gunned gatekeeper with six losses and two draws coming in. Insists “he’s baaaack”, but looking sharp against Granados told us nothing. What’s next for Danny? Possible rematches with either Thurman or Porter, both winnable fights for him given how close they were. Or another opportunity to fight PAC providing he doesn’t turn it down again.
López did what he was supposed to do as well, defeat another no-hoper to pad that record and bring him closer to what he hopes is a Loma payday. By the looks of it, he clearly isn’t ready, so for now it appears he is just using Loma’s name to elevate his social media presence and market himself.
Anyone see something different?
Dave Allen took out Browne with a quality left body hook on the short rib. Allen does some good things; he adds power to his right downward arcing hook punch with a setup. While walking forward in southpaw, he'll throw a left uppercut and rotate the hips to ortho - when he's set, his right hand is mid flight 50% of the distance to the target. smashes down with it hard.
Amatuer wins don't mean much, brother. How do you think a fight between them plays out today?
if they were the same weight , I'd pick porter. amateur wins mean a good deal when both end up as top pros.
No one controls boxing. Thats one of the problems. There are too many lil warlord ent^ties with power, but no one with big power really to steer & protect the sport.
But of all the ent^ties in boxing as a job category I think the promoter has the most power. But there are obvious specific people who have power to. Floyd had massive power when he was fighting. Manny still gots solid power. Haymon has power. DAZN seems to have a lot of power right now. And I'd probably argue the WBC is the most influential/powerful ABC group. Probably some more examples of non-promoters with power, but this is all thats coming to me right now.
I think there is an entity that puts hits on certain fighters, because after watching the sport for about twenty years I can say that I've noticed irregularities follow around people who let it go to their head or follow into hollywood.
I've seen towels thrown back after submission towel throws, all kinda ****. Just has me wondering. Not that I'll do anything else; we can't choose what we respect. Work that 3,2
The illuminati. They even have people on this site spreading propaganda, fishing around for fan interest in fights, pushing race debates, creating divisions, making excuses for corruption.
thanks. I will look into it. (But not too deep, if you know what I mean)
If I was an alien and came to earth, I'd probably be most interested in boxing, because of it being the most difficult, most absolute profession in the world.
Within 5 years
Hearns reaction when Bellew and Usyk was coming up, when he was asked about the fight, seemed sad he was forced to put his friend (Bellew) in against Usyk. It's obvious he's a promoter and Bellew is his fighter but the man was his friend in some regards, and you could tell he was being forced to throw him to the wolves. The terms of the fight took ten minutes to agree upon, also. Bellew was forced into this position by the powers that be! But I guess that's the way it is, when you play superstar on the silver screen.
I prefer Tessitore over Lampley and the Showtime guy.
lampley is a boss. tessitore is my number 11
my commentators go something like this.
1. steward (RIP)
2. foreman
3. lampley
4. merchant
5. jones jr
6. ward
7. kellerman
8. tarver
9. mora
10. martinez
All I can hope for now that Wilder and Fury isn't gonna happen is the Ortiz fight I suppose. I enjoy watching Wilder and Ortiz, they had a great first fight I thought. Wilder gets lots of hate for smiling on that draw being announced, and for good reason, a warrior knows the ultimate respect is words from a fellow warrior after defeating him. Wilder knew he lost, and smiled about it. I guess fighting the machine is out of the question of course, but it was just disconcerting to see. World level boxing is ultimately about spreading your tribes warrior teachings to the far corners of the world and forever sealed in time. This is important for the children of the world to see how to be a man. ultimately, this is the value in boxing. Those are some weak warrior teachings, the smiling on the draw, imo.
they're both fathers, hunting each other to put food on the table for their princesses. respect
You think Wilder is hated for smiling at the draw? No. He's hated for what he says and does. The smiling doesn't even come into it. The dude is a coward who likes to bully weaker opposition because he knows what happens when he fights a dangerous fighter at their best. It's the reason he went after Fury in the condition he was because he's a punk.
Well, Boxing is a business.
3 strikes and you're out, it just so happens all of millers strikes were over the course of 48hrs lol.
LIFETIME ban this CHEAT.
for cardanine? come on. holyfield had more in his system during the weekend on holiday than miller had here. I like miller, and think this hate is bs. heavyweight boxing is the most absolute hustle on earth, of course it's participants are electing to have science try it's best at improving their fists. ****!!!! all the best had stuff in their system. you think a prime iron mike was natural? ha! what about any version of good klitschko!?! lol. vitali was on some **** too. so was ibeabuchi, tua probably foreman on low doses of test during his comeback, and he's the most respectable of them all! get a ****ing clue! Yeah bruh - Usyk is all natty, dog. So is Spence. **** outta here. If you have true love for the game, you must accept the corruption. We are human, it's the condition
garcia is soft and brook is ruined. how about put him in with either spence or porter. only two fights that matter with him now.
Porter beats up Crawford.
Spence gets his ass beat
i'd say in primitive societies. Now it's all about greed.
I've seen boxing in primitive societies as well (3rd world countries) and it's more about control, unfortunately. They don't want their people to defect or turn pro, they keep their top amateurs there and try to weather them down. Yeah, 3rd world boxing...100 people sparring on 100'x100' concrete at once with two coaches looking, is 3rd world boxing.
Racism only exists because of elites spawning propaganda that led to the race wars. The people who pay Haymon probably spawned this trash. Haymon seems like a pretty cool cat, he ain't about all this. People sometimes, are spokes, on a wheel. and so am I. and so are you.
Big baby is one of those criminals on the first 48 that swears on his mothers life he didnt do it but the cops have DNA evidence.
but I swear on my mama!!!
Dude is bottom of the barrel filth.
Really? every single fighter is or has been on something, unless it's an amateur who ain't been whooped by an augmented one yet. this is chess, not checkers. absolute
Jarrell had a hit on him for non compliance. Cardanine??? Really?
If we need any of that, we should be on a different site, IMO. I'm sure you come here for boxing news, content, discussions, and to see what some of your NSB good friends are posting. At least I do.
I don't mix race politics with boxing. It's for the weaklings.
boxing has always been an ethnic oriented sport
if a fighter emerges from an area where none have before, his/her supporters will stand and roar. it's part of the game, to root for your tribe. it's the human condition.
this pride overlaps with the propaganda that elites have fed both blacks, whites and latinos for years - to go against each other and not the machine spawning what's coming from the tv.
khan must have ****ed up bad to get guys like bud put in front of him. I knew he was gonna lose as soon as distance closed, knew he was gonna get wet. khan needs to pull a david allen, and fight weak eu's
