Manny made oscar quit. Manny made hatton sleep. Manny made cotto run. Manny made clottey hide. Yea his power and finishing skills are overrated. LOL!
props to Manny, he did what he was supposed to do. Question, Is this going to be his toughest opponent in Mayweather??? If so, how do you suppose that he will win??? I don't think May is gonna fight at a catch weight, so he is not gonna drained. he's a better counter puncher that Pac ever faced, i can go on... What advantage will pac have in the fight???
Pac is the man ATM, 50-50 is only fair by Mannys means, I mean I could maybe see if Pac was asking 60-40 split, 60 for pac and 40 for Floyd Joy, but 50-50 niether one should complain
Manny had 50/50 at one point then he backed out of the fight so now he should pay the price...
Need you guys to know that Pac has been fighting literally from under until now. This guy is special allright, no need accusing him on PED or whatsoever..
now this guy wants to bring PEDs up... WHY!!!
cant compare Marquez to Clottey
1.15m - 1.25m, manny won that one
yes, Floyd Joy did beat Manny here, but remember, Hatton was undefeated and when Hatton faced Manny, he was no longer as big of a draw as he was pior to facing Floyd Joy
2.44 m - 1.25m Isnt this the record holding PPV event?
All I am saying is that Manny never left the sport, Floyd Joy left, you can come back and expect to still be the best, you have to climb back up there.
IDK, maybe he is hiding something
ok ask you this, who needs to beat who to show they are the best?
Manny killed both of the same fighters that Mayweather fought
Yes, Floyd Joy beat JMM, blew him out
they should go 50/50 ppv buys and a bonus for the winner, if it is via KO, even more of a bonus, that way both fvckers are trying
ok ask you this, who needs to beat who to show they are the best?
Manny killed both of the same fighters that Mayweather fought
If your refering to ODLH and Hatton, Both fighters were in better condition when fighting Floyd.. Be it mentally or Physically...
How many fighters did Manny sent to the hospital after the fight and wasn't able to attend the press con?
That must have something to do with his power and finishing ability.
How many???
Never have i seen a group of fans so obsessed with their fighter being a "bigger draw" as the flomos are . I would have thought that the self proclaimed "real boxing fans" would care more about their guy being p4p #1 rather than being the fighter who brings in the most money ( which none of them will ever see a penny of ) . Pathetic.
Here is another example of trying to steer the point of the thread in a new direction. You can start a thread and ask the question of P4P/purse split diffrence if you want to go there...
4. Ability to take a “bomb” actually two.. (The Mosley fight)
And so can Pac. Dont forget Shane landed but couldnt finish.. Once Pac lands a flush shot, expect numerous combos after. Pac has that killer instinct.
Yes but as you can also see in the mosely Fight floyd has great composure and thinks very clearly even when in trouble... This is were his size and strength will play a big part, I believe he will be able to smother a Pac attack...
7. Unprecedented connect percentage… Manny takes too many punches…and he will be hit often and clean.
Yes Manny does get hit alot but in the Cotto fight he wanted to get hit to prove he can take a Welters punch.. I doubt Roach and Pac let Floyd rack up them points by letting Floyd hit him..
I don't know if they will have a choice, in later rounds as Floyd adjusts he has a knack for opening his opponents up for clean shots... I don't see how Manny can change that without an early knock out...
Again, WHO has Floyd fought that has been able to throw 1300 punches in a Welterweight fight?
It's not a matter of anyone being able to throw 1300 punches... the point is boxers work rate is always cut when they fight Floyd... In the case of Pac, between 300 - 500 will probably be the case if Pac can go the distance...
what do you think?
how long have you been watching boxing?
I can go back to the mid 70's, how bout you??? So we all know Mayweather will be his toughest test so what advantage will Pac have in the ring???
yet mosley never even hurt cotto and pac punished cotto.......even cotto says hes never been hit as hard as pac hit him.....
if thats what he said, then plaster hands Margarito must have knocked something loosein his head...
If you watch both fights again you will see clearly that JMM was just lucky and saved by the bell. Honestly if there was at least 20 seconds left that round in both fights Pac will finish him for sure.
If If was a spliff, It would be a party going on...
“That is too much for Mayweather to ask. Besides, that’s unfair to Pacquiao because he’s the main draw being the current pound-for-pound king,” said Pacquiao’s confidant and top advisor Rex “Wakee” Salud.
This is a false statement... As I have witnessed, even non fight fans will tune in to see floyd. Were if a person is not at least a casual fight fan you they will not think of tuning in to Pac fight...
Excuses?
:ugh:
Cool let's not have any excuses, it's over pac won. Good wins in all those fights, Now what advantages will he have in the ring with mMayweather????
The last few fights I can remember where his opponents went straight to the hospital are Oscar, Hatton and Cotto... the reason Clottey covered himself all night!
I'll give you Hatton... DLH let's not go there... 1 word, Dehydration... and Cotto was probably more Depressed than anything else...
Are all pac fans like you? would they rather see an easy manny in a rematch he won easily rather than the biggest fight in 30 years because manny isn't getting a 50/50 split? Are you serious?
not to mention if he fights cotto again he most likely will not make as much as if he to 30% fighting floyd...
it aint just you bro...for me, it will always be Magic
any player that can be deadly at all FIVE positions is special
any player that can come in and win an NBA title in his rookie year is legendary
My man!!! That's the truth all day and night.... If he didn't get the Monster for sure he would have gotten one or two more rings....
i think he's ok...when i watch his highlights, he reminds me so much of Kobe :D
LOL... I think that's the other way around.... Still the greatest player Ive witnessed was magic hands down, but that's just me...
come on mayn... pac beat mosely period...if he did what do you guys excuse again?? mosely is too old and washed up....
Manny could have fought him befor Mayweather... besides Mosley didn't become old and washed up till the 3rd round of the fight agaist Mayweather....
they should have won 2.
if only they didn't leave horry open.
i called it too.
i was at a baby shower and all the guys was in the garage watching the game.
i told everyone when they called the timeout , they were gonna leave horry open.
shit always happens.
You're right you always gotta keep an eye on big shot Bob....
hey, D-Whistle did his part...if LeChoke attacked the rim with some passion, im sure Stern wouldn't have a problem giving him to Jordan treatment too
Damn bruh, you didn't like jordan either???
I scored Pac-Jmm I to Pac, and I scored Pac-Jmm II a draw. Do you consider Mayweather's win over a jmm to be a great win?
I see that fight as the first fight coming off retirement. sort of like a tune up. I don't know if anybody here heard of those. Anyway guys like Burt Sugar said it would be a tough fight for Money. Then after the Fight flipped. Saying how he picks on little guys. That's being a hater...
I agree they both need each other to make this fight. I ain't mad that Pac wants 50/50.
the thing is he had the deal he is agreeing to now back in 09'... why did he run from the deal then...
Somebody said:
"Now Fast forward now pac having 3 more big wins, giving him more world wide recognition, and still putting on exciting performances and you expect him to take a lesser split to Floyd mayweather Jr.?? LOL again that's an insult to pac's status in the game"
So if Pac takes less than 50%, that is a message about Pac's status.
We're not counting the Clotty fight in that right??? that was truley a boring fight... That may be because of Clotty But Pac cauld have got a diffrent opponent though...
So you agree didn't profit but created hype for the next fight. Yes it did, but to promoter GBP they just got ****ed up bad by there expectation hehe..
I think that was more of a tactic than a goal... they realisticly would have been overjoyed with 1.6m and I'm sure they are happy with 1.4... the tactic i speak on is by saying the fight will do a crazy # like 4m, is to give the impression that everybody doin' it so you should to...
This is why the fight has taken to long to make. Floyd knows Pacman is the only fight on the planet at 147 that can beat him. Basically the only guy about his size that can beat him, and he's afraid of that.
we have to remeber this... Now Pac and Floyd are about the same size. So we can Take the size excuse out...
