remind me to put elementary tua on my ignore list
well i cheered for magic too. just not against bird.
i remember i just moved to l.a. from pinas and me and my idiot cousin was cheering for the celtics in the finals.
all the old people were telling us to shut up. :lol1:
'bird over magic'
'i like laimbeer'
'let the piston hate go'
'blame riles'
who are you and how did you hack into Tua's account?
you're talking to elementary school 1980's tua.
teenage 1990's tua is the lakers fanatic.
lakers suck!!!
nahh honestly, i never like tht team early in the decade. but kobe n gang grew on me, they have my respect now. i would call their fans a little over pretentious, but then again, im native bronxite and yankee fan, so the pot cnt call the kettle black.
to the grave homey...sorry
we'd be at 16 going on 17 about to tie the Celts if it weren't for injuries and that team
blame riles.
he killed them in practice.
I have never heard a non Piston's fan say they like Laimbeer.
Most people liked Joe Dumars though.
i was a kid back then.
didn't know much about basketball.
i just followed players i liked.
i loved bird because of the 3's.
magic was 2nd because of his assists.
rodman for his rebounding.
worthy for his dunks and layups on fast break.
laimbeer? for the little extras. :lol1:
you're dead to me
what?
i was a kid.
i only cheered for players , never really had a team up until junior high.
laimbeer was a bad ass though.
you know if he was a laker you'd love his ass.
I thought the rape thing wasn't until much later but yea it only really sucks for them becuase that is one of the biggest upsets in Finals history, if that series was Pistons-Mavs no one would care about it later on.
It had to be like a nightmare for Phil Jackson atleast that is not his only loss in the Finals now.
the case already started.
he would fly from colorado straight to games sometimes.
the trial never started but the prelims was already going on in the playoffs.
ehhhh..... that team was just not meant to win.
maybe malone is cursed.
kobe was the man in the 1st 3 rounds though.
plus you gotta consider the rape case thing.
he was facing trial afterwards.
in the 1st , 2nd round and conf finals he just concentrated on basketball.
maybe in the finals it hit him. "this could be the last time i ever play basketball"
you never know.

LMAO!!!!! i can't front on Bird he was a heartbreaker for sure, but Magis is the greatest noone can play 5 spots but Magic...
That is what I am saying. I think he could of played any position and be a HOF'er. Lets not forget what he did as a rookie in the finals at age 19. IMO he is the greatest ever.
its Finals...you aint getting any Celtic praises from this Laker fan
fukk bird, fukk mchale, fukk ainge, fukk red, fukk dj
fukk all of em
i only liked bird.
didn't care for those other cunts.
just like the pistons.
i only liked laimbeer and rodman.
they should have won 2.
if only they didn't leave horry open.
i called it too.
i was at a baby shower and all the guys was in the garage watching the game.
i told everyone when they called the timeout , they were gonna leave horry open.
shit always happens.
There were still 6 seconds left after Horry hit that shot, Larry Brown needed to come up with something better and we can win that game.
Hard to be mad at the Pistons run though 6 conference finals in a row a title and another appearence in the Finals against one of the dynasties of the era and took it to seven games.
Orlando Magic fans would kill for such a run, not to mention Nuggets and Mavs fans (I will not even bring up Kincks fans).
You're right you always gotta keep an eye on big shot Bob....
6 foot 10 always behind the 3 point line in crucial situations.
thank god he wasn't dedicated to rebounding. :lol1:
That was another issue with Kobe in that series he was trying to be the man under intense pressure.
The Pistons kind of dared him to do what he did and it was to tough a task for any one player.
Don't forget the Piston had the Shaq stopper Elden Campbell
hey elden was a good defender and rebounder.
i'd take a prime elden right now on the lakers.
