Bivol wins this because he's younger. Beterbiev probably wins if they're both 32. But this is the fight that is going to out-stamina Beterbiev and that's why he's going to avoid it.
You idiots arguing about what the odds were, just look it up.

6 months before the fight on Bovada it was offering Beterbiev +110 and Gvozdyk -140. As the fight came closer the odds flipped to favor Beterbiev slightly. But it was always very close to 50/50 odds.
you do know that this was a taunt that Baumgardner used in the lead-up to their fight?
It's just banter. Boxing is full of banter, and worse.
I see that you joined this month. Maybe you have been following boxing for decades and just decided to join. in which case you'll know that boxing is full of banter and that in boxing terms "horse face" is about 1 on the Richter scale of insults. If you are new to the sport then this is not the sport to follow if you are even in the slightest way offended by "banter" or insults.
I was not aware it was part of the taunt of a previous fight. It was not clear who you were talking about, and it seemed to be inviting people to ask and have you elaborate on your stupid insult. This is a prediction thread and if it's not clear who you are picking, then you've definitely failed at something.
I guess I am still asking myself if this forum is worth my time. And posts like that make me wonder. If I wanted twitter-level hot takes and dumb insults, that's where I'd go.
Well tbf that would have been a much better look than being backed to the ropes and getting wailed on by a guy half his size.
That only happened a few times in the later rounds. Smith was never down, and only seemed to be in trouble during a few flurries. That's why it was such a boring fight. Canelo would have needed 5+ more rounds to get a knockout.
Also "half his size"? They have weight classes. They were literally the same exact size by weight. Height doesn't win every time, and anyone who has ever watched boxing knows that.
Will there be any demand for Fury vs Ngannou after they're both coming off losses...
Ngannou is about to become the greatest 0-2 boxer of all time. Of course we watch a rematch with Fury. It would be a good bounce back fight for Fury. Meanwhile Ngannou gets to become the greatest 0-3 boxer of all time. Win-win for everyone.
Smith stepped up to Light Heavy 3 years ago after loss to Canelo.
But only fought 2 times at Light Heavy against questionable opposition.
Smith also has an 18 month lay off?!
I think the question is: Beterbiev by KO or by UD?
Beterbiev has won exclusively by KO. But Callum Smith seems like the guy to survive to a decision.
Looked like the moment got to him he looked nervous just before the bell rang and even the way he was moving and his stance was weird and he got clocked left his chin fully in the air during a exchange.
That's his stance. Extremely wide. It's worked well for him. His jab is extremely long in that stance. Most of his opponents in the past seemed bothered by it.
The two opponents who didn't seem bothered by it were both lefties. His 2 best opponents. And he lost to both.
So what happened with Canelo?
He couldn't hurt Canelo at all, but he kept sticking and moving enough to finish the fight. Somehow people see that as cowardly. Apparently you are supposed to stand in the middle and get knocked out.
Of course the car had tracking in it. That's how they knew where it was to repo in the first place.
This is a premeditated crime but he didn't think it through at all.
