As the fight came closer the odds flipped to favor Beterbiev slightly. But it was always very close to 50/50 odds.

Yep, but I thought he would win. Current lines - Bivol -150 to Betebiev +110 I believe the oddsmakers think he is just a slugger/pressure fighter. Odds are pretty consistent when they envision him vs an A-level boxer.
