Bivol beats Beterbiev. here is why

Hard fight to call 50/50 though I didn't like the way bivol responded to the bodyshots last time out I think he's vulnerable there now. Happens to most boxers in their mid 30s sign he needs go up in weight. Makes sense the opatia fight at 190 was put out there recently they are scoping that move up in the near future

Bivol - Beterbiev fight will be solved in the last rounds. Bivol wins by decision or Beterbiev by a late stoppage. i see no other outcome. If Beterbiev will be crazy enough to jump on him earlier, maybe Bivol stops him. Gvozdyk is nothing like Bivol, much slower guy. Bivol isn't crude like Joe Smith. Yeah and he is the only guy I see that could do that, its a near 50-50 fight, I only pick Beterbiev because I want to make a pick, its too boring for me to say its a toss up. Thing is that Beterbiev is a smart fighter and his corner is smart, they know that will be Bivol's strategy, they know they have to cut off the ring which Beterbiev is good at. I think that is what it really comes down to, Bivol has a massive speed advantage, Beterbiev cant just box him in the center of the ring all night, he has to cut it off and get Bivol to the ropes now and then. His foot work is pretty good but he is slower. If beterbiev can cut him off and control the space then he wins, if he cant and Bivol can elude him all night then he loses a decision. It will be similar to Usyk-AJ, I was sitting there in the early rounds watching the first fight thinking, wow Usyk is winning, can he do this all night or what happens when he gets tired, but I will be damned he did it all night and he was less tired than AJ at the end of the fight. I already said this in another thread but I too still favor Bivol. The dude stay focused and gets the job done. Beterbiev didn't show anything we didn't already know about him Saturday night. So my feelings hasn't changed. Bivol by UD unless Beterbiev gets too excited then he might even get stopped. ​​​ ​​​​​​Also I don't want to hear anything about his age because he has never shown any signs of aging in any of his fights.

Bivol isn’t stopping Beterbiev, he couldn’t even get rid of Lyndon Arthur. Gvodzyk and Bivol have similar styles. Bivol is undoubtedly a better fighter but they definitely have stylistic similarities. Arthur fought in survival mode for 12 ronds like many others. If Beter attacks too early and a litzle careless, he can get stopped. Bivol is strong enough to stop somebody that jumped on him.

Because Beterbiev is 39 years old and gets hit a lot. He’s there for the taking for an elite fighter.

You get some elite amateurs who’s skills don’t translate over like Murata for example. Beterbiev however, is a very technically skilled fighter, very good fundamentals too. I think the power/ KO streak distracts people from his technical ability. I couldn’t agree more with you He does a bit of everything well but what stands out for me is his ring iq and of course his power When all tied together you got a good boxer imo not great

Regardless of which way you lean I think it’s fair to say either guy can win. Both are elite operators. I personally favour Beterbiev. Hopefully we find out soon.
