Yes, he is tough. But, as you say, also shopworn. That doesn't speak well of Munguia, who took several good shots from him. Until he's young it's all OK, but one day someone will find Munguia's breaking point if he continues to ship that kind of punches. To be honest, this time it was relatively easy to get a perfect pick. Ryder has built his credit on his fight with Callum Smith, gaining this oh-so-great reputation. But look at his record, and you see the reality. Lost to Nick Blackwell and Rocky Fielding, lost to Jacobs but the latter was robbed and no one cried like they did when Ryder was robbed vs Smith. Beat Zack Parker only because the latter got injured, and got beaten to a pulp by a fading version of Canelo. Yes, he's brave and has some skills, but that's really all. Too bad I only bet on Munguia KO 7-12... had I picked rounds 9, 10 and 11 as per my initial intention, I would have won much more. Oh, well... at least the negative spell is broken.
