Think I might’ve misread the OP.
John David Jackson trained Kovalev to beat B-Hop after B-Hop had beaten him years earlier.
Yeah maybe I wasn't clear but thanks everyone for their input - this probably this closest to what I mean
dude, i'm not a hater... just telling you all the context
that's cool... but just remember the context
ill remember how much of a douche you are, and how you got owned in this argument.
I think it's obvious that nobody knows what happened, but im sure if the commission thought that the wraps were really that serious then they would have used the opporunity to make an example of him. I don't think it's fair to say Margarito took "everything cotto had", Cotto had to back off because the punches were doing so much damage (allbeit with or without wraps). He showed the same with Clottey, because of the gruesome cut. I really want to see a rematch. Just to put all opinions to rest. I never knew there was such a contrast of opinions on the matter.
I rate them like this..........Whitaker is better inside, he is better from mid range but Mayweather is better from long range. Whitaker is a better counter puncher though.
Easy to fight long range when you select opponents with limited reach... Valid point non the less...
Sweet Pea, won gold. Not bronze. Didn't duck anybody. De La Hoya too pussy to rematch him, KO percentage means nothing. Sweet pea enjoyed making you suffer...
Pernell, easily one of the best. I cherish my signed glove...
PBF for sure
What is wrong with people, i cant count the number of times on my two hands sweet pea got caught flush..
Zab Judah, DeMarcus Corley... N'dou... Even Marquez all got a good shot in... Literally off the top of my head...
People who say Floyd is better clearly haven't watched pernell's fights, and are idiots, probably just basing ability on one thing... the record, which is unbelmished... Due to floyd's inability to fight proper proper welterweights Don't mean to be harsh but thats the way it is...
I've watched almost every fight of both fighters, im sure many on this forum have. They will say Pernell. Hands down.
Man, after seeing the fight i give him all the respect i have. He looked as if he could do well had he trained... It was another one sided beating but....
HIS WIFE!!!...
Arreola... Wins...
There you go khan outlands peterson by 8-4 and loses ? Stas dont lie add two points despite the last round draw and khan wins this fight regardless of the points Khan won and that is fact
Stats do lie, the compubox stats are inaccurate otherwise we'd score fights by them and/or they'd be used in the olmypics. They are merely for speculation, which is what you are doing. Unfortunately you can't cheat even if you hit someone more, so in truth Khan didn't win and that's a fact. His record doesn't lie.
Is it just me or is Fury taking a step back with this fight?
I mean his last fight was in madison square garden...
Now he wants a domestic rematch against a guy he quite convincingly beat? (whether he showed up or not).
.. Don't get me wrong - I'm Chisora by UD all the way.
It kind of undermines a division of contenders, a world title and to an extent the sport.
Most of all, it's so ****ing weird to see a world title fight with a measly (1-0) record next to the contender.
Unless of course it's Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, because he did that all the time.
I really don't understand the problem here, i thought Clottey would win going into the fight. Miguel clearly outboxed him, whilst dabbing at his cut all fight. His defence was pretty good, but i didnt understand his little half Philly shell thing he insists on doing as Clottey eventually caught him. Cotto would end every exhange in the first 6 with a solid left hook. Beating Clottey in the corner early and then just boxing the rest of the fight. Clottey got hurt, Cotto didnt. I really dont understand the problems. I dont want to argue but i really haven't heard a coherent explaination of why Miguel was "gifted".
I don't think Garcia is a good trainer, sending Margarito out against Pacquiao like that. I think he's a really nice guy, just for some reason he trains two scumbags. Both with poor defences.
